  1. Sidnie says:

    Oh no!
    How’d that happen?

  2. Misc Jenn says:

I’m slightly afraid to ask, but I must know… Was it wild dogs or tame monkeys?

  3. OH NO! I’m with Jenn – what happened??

  4. Amy says:

Apparently my 11 year old bread machine decided it had had enough! It was mixing and I heard a loud crash from the other room. This is what I found. :(

  5. Aww. :( That happened to me awhile back but luckily mine still works fine, the top just isn’t attached anymore.

I hope you get a new one from Santa!

  6. Oooo…I hope Santa is listening.

  7. Hallee says:

    Ack! Haha! No fun!

  8. So sad! But at least you got a good decade out of it! My mom got a bread machine one year, and that very night we started it and left it to run overnight. That darned machine wobbled back and forth so badly that it “walked” itself right off the counter and onto the floor!

I hope Santa brings you a new one! :)

  9. Wendi says:

Not good! That is on my wish list also. I hope Santa has lots of bread machines stuffed in his bag!

  10. Stephanie says:

Oh I would be so sad if mine committed suicide like that! Thankfully lots of thrift stores have them available cheap. Do you have thrift stores in Tiny Town?

  11. Jen says:

Oh no! I hope Santa keeps that in mind for you this year. That happened to my great-grandmother’s machine as well. It just gave up and flung itself off the counter one day.

    • Melanie says:

@Jen, i wish you lived close to me. I just bought one at a garage sale for $3. I would give it to you.It is a Sunbeam, and has no instructions. I have no clue…..

      • Catherine says:

@Melanie, Try looking online for the instruction manual. I found one for the Oster bread machine I bought on craigslist. I just bring my laptop into the kitchen when I need to reference recipes.

  12. Nicole Ross says:

    And pronto!!!

  13. Allie Z says:

    Ooooh no!!!!

  14. Amy Lynne says:

That stinks! I hope you get one from a nice Santa!

  15. Sherry says:

    Oh, nooooooo! :(

  16. Catherine says:

It seems like a huge coincidence, but Jenn @ Frugal Upstate just posted about her broken bread machine… seems like her’s still works, even if it is not ideal.

  17. I’m so sorry that this happened, Amy! But, I kind of take heart to hear that so many other people’s bread machines wobble around too. (I have been sticking a Pampered Chef scraper tool thingee under one “leg,” and it has helped a lot.)

Good luck on a replacement or salvaging your old one.

  18. Julie says:

OMG! That’s my same bread machine! The best part? Mine died 2 weeks ago too!!!
