Winter?! {Finer Things Friday}

No Wind

Need I say more?!  We are celebrating this crazy, unseasonably warm weather and getting lots of vitamin D in the process!

  1. I can’t wait to read her book and want to participate in the book club!! I hoped I would win one but looks like I am not the only one who wants to win… Keeping my fingers crossed!

  2. We’re having the same crazy warm weather here (though not as warm as yours!). The normal high is -12C, low -25C. Today it was 10C. Melting, sunny, gorgeous! This is not the January I’m used to 🙂

  3. Happy New Year to you Amy…Love your new look for the new year! 🙂

  4. San Diego
    82 degrees
Not a cloud in the sky
    Happy!!! 🙂

  5. We are having the same weather here in Missouri. It’s wonderful!

  6. Crazy warm here, too! I’m not complaining but when it is freezing for a few days then hot the next, that is just a recipe for yucky winter colds.

  7. My post is similar to yours. Enjoy the weather!

  8. We’re having a slightly warmer winter here so far too, though certainly not temps in the 60s! 🙂 Actually, I kind of wish it would snow since I have a little Munchkin who has been waiting impatiently to build a snowman. And silly Santa brought a sled for Christmas!

Thanks for hosting, and enjoy some wonderful outside time with your family!

  9. It’s suppose to get up to 60 here in Illinois! I plan on spending the day with my kids outside. Thanks for hosting this link up!

  10. It’s warmer there than it is here in Florida! That’s crazy! Enjoy ever warm minute! 🙂

  11. It’s crazy isn’t it?! Makes me a bit fearful fo February and March.

  12. Our weather here is also warmer than usual although it’s getting colder now. January/February are always the worst for very chilly temperatures but I hope it snows more as a conciliation prize :).

  13. Robin in VA says:

My link is #26. I had never linked before so I didn’t know it would just show my name. Hope that is okay.

Thankful for another year and my Mary Kay Business that God won’t let me quit.

54 Degrees (much better than 7 degrees a few days ago)

  14. Not as warm here as KS, to be sure, but still mild. I am just SO, SO grateful we’ve not had any more snow. So many of us around here seem to share that sentiment– the October storm just killed the whole winter for us. Considering it a real blessing that we’ve not had to deal with any since! 🙂

  15. Here in Colorado we have been to both ends of the spectrum — yesterday it was 66 degrees, gorgeous, and breezy. Today it will struggle to get above 40, it’s still gorgeous, and not so breezy =) This crazy pattern will most likely continue until the end of May..or June…I love our crazy climate!

  16. Warm here too….but it was freezing on Monday and Tuesday!

  17. Krista D. says:

Warm here in MN 🙂 We made it to the park yesterday and played outside in sweatshirts.

First time linking up here too… second that I didn’t realize it would show my name… oops! Our Finer Thing this week is the finished bathroom remodel!!!

  18. I’m in Kansas too. We’re loving the weather (though my husband says it’s creeping him out). Nothing like being able to walk to the park with the kids without worrying about jackets in January.

  19. You’re right! This weather is so strange! (I’m in KS too) I have been a little disappointed we haven’t had ANY snow yet this winter!

    • Remember the freak snow storm at the end of MARCH a few years ago?! I’m wondering if we’re in for something like that again…

  20. The weather is gorgeous here in California…though I hear that’s the norm!
