Win a Norwex Enviro Cloth (Celebrating Mom!)

My husband’s family long ago started a tradition that all birthdays are celebrated for a week. Forgot to send a card? No worries, we celebrate for a week! Weren’t able to make it to the party two days ago? Come on over, we celebrate for a week!

Here at Finer Things, I’m embracing that tradition and we’re going to Celebrate Mom all month! (If for no other reason than I simply right now.) 😉

Celebrating Mom

Onward with the giveaways! Today’s giveaway is from Ilyssa, an independent Norwex distributor. If you have yet to hear about Norwex, it’s a company committed to cleaning without chemicals. You all know how I feel about cleaning, right?

I cleaned my house.

Norwex microfiber is 1/200th the size of a human hair. Norwex Enviro Cloths have 1,800 miles of microfiber in each cloth! That’s enough microfiber to stretch from Canada to Mexico.

Used dry these fibers produce an electrostatic charge which attracts and holds dust particles. When wet the fibers use capillary vacuum force to pull moisture and grease from the surface up into the fibers. A cotton cloth simply pushes dirt and debris around the surface.

Norwex antibacterial Microfiber does not disinfect the surface you clean by killing the germs on it; rather it removes what is on the surface and collects it within the cloth. The silver agent inside the microfibers then inhibits the growth of bacterial odor, mold, and/or mildew growth within the product.

The micro silver functions as a self-purifier and helps cleanse the cloth of mold, fungi and bacterial odor within 24 hours, so that it is ready to use again.

Ilyssa sent me the Norwex Enviro Cloth and the Cleaning Paste to give a whirl. Here’s what she has to say about each:

I like to think of the Cleaning Paste as “Elbow Grease in a Can.” It’s got a million uses- and yes, I do think it’ll work on your shower door. If they’re really bad you might want to try our Descaler. It’s what I use on my glass shower doors and it works wonders! I have hard, well water and it leaves buildup all over! I think the cleaning paste will help a lot though. You can use the Cleaning Paste to clean grout, make stainless steel sinks SHINE, use it in place of Goo Gone, remove rust stains from virtually anything, clean foggy headlights… really anything. You just need a dab on your Enviro Cloth.

The Enviro Cloth is really like a magic wand. The fibers are tiny (1/200th the size of a human hair) so it can pick up dirt, dust, etc much better than a typical cloth. You can use it with water anywhere you were using a multi-purpose cleaner. You can use it to wipe down the counters each day (just wet the cloth and wipe down like you normally would). You can use it to clean up some carpet stains (wet the cloth and gently rub). In my home it has replaced window cleaners, multi purpose wipes, paper towels, disinfecting sprays, etc.

And here’s what I have to say: “My very much neglected bathroom sliding glass doors thank you, Ilyssa!” Oy.

Visit Ilyssa’s Norwex page here for more information.

Would you like to  win an Enviro Cloth from Ilyssa? (Yes, yes you really would!) She is giving one to three of my readers! To enter, simply leave a comment below. Any comment will do, but if you have any experience with Norwex products, I’d love to hear about it. Also, feel free to lay it all out and tell me how you handle cleaning at your house (Unless you’re a type A neat freak whose house is always spotless. I don’t really want to hear about that. 😉  ).

This giveaway will end just as soon as I get my act together enough to get all of the Celebrating Mom! giveaways posted and rounded up. Yep. It may be a while. Winners will be notified by email and posted in a winners roundup of all the giveaways. Thanks for hangin’ with me!

  1. I really like my Norwex cloths… one of the other benefits is because you don’t need to use chemicals to clean with as the wet cloth does the work making it easier to include the kiddos in cleaning.

I only have the travel set (little washcloth sizes) and would love a full sized cloth. The reason I bought the little ones is b/c then I could keep one in each bathroom and another under the kitchen sink so they would always be within reach. I use the one in the kitchen mostly for cleaning the fresh eggs from the chicken coop — nice to be able to know our fresh eggs are clean without adding chemical to clean the shell.

  2. Christie says:

Never used norwex, but my SIL wor buy anything else.

  3. Jennifer says:

I’d love to give it a try!

  7. I would love to try this product I have heard such wonderful things about it.

  8. I’ve never used Norwex cloths before, but I’ve always wanted to try them. My house cleaning is a constant process that continuously frustrates me. I love your quote picture at the top. That defines my feelings perfectly.:)

  9. I’d like to try it!

  10. Melanie M says:

I adore my Norwex cloths! I just recently learned about Norwex and I am a believer! Without the chemical buildup my counters, appliances, windows etc all stay cleaner longer. Really! I have tried to gently force them on everyone I know because they are such a time saver when it comes to cleaning. I would LOVE to win this giveaway!

Love Love Love my Norwex cloths!!! They are amazing! I really like the Polishing cloth because it leaves my storm door clear and spotless. I also use the Enviro and Polish cloth on my dark navy tile backsplash in the kitchen. It always has water spots and these clean it with no streaking at all!!

  18. Would love to win one of these! I’ve seen demonstrations and they are amazing!

  19. I love my Norwex! I have the mop pad also and clean the floors soooo quickly now! The polishing cloth is a must have. I’ll never go back to regular cleaning products again. Never used one, my house would like to use one and SHINE!

Never used this brand but I have used some generic microfiber cloths. I do prefer how they clean versus a regular towel so I would love to try the Norwex brand.

  22. I have never used Norwex before but the reviews sound like I really need it. Cleaning is not one of my talents…I tend to do what I have to and never get to the deep cleaning. The easier the better for me and Norwex sounds great for that.

  24. Billie Thein says:

  26. I have heard of these before but didn’t want to spend the money for one! I’d love to win. Your comment above about cleaning the house being dumb because we still live here pretty much sums up how it is at my house. Or that one that goes cleaning your house when you have small kids is like brushing your teeth while eating oreos!

  27. Would love to try it!

  28. I’ve heard rave review of norwex, but it’s just so pricey to try when what I have does technically work. I’d love to win and see for myself!

  29. I really like the window cloths! They work fantastic!

  30. Now that Summer Break is here, I’ve got two ‘helpers’ at home who would LOVE to try it out!!! 😉

  31. Catherine says:

  33. I’ve heard great things about Norwex and would love to win one. THanks!

  34. I have never heard of this item but this sounds like it would be perfect for us! We plan on living full time in our RV in the next year and a half or so, and this cloth (and cleaner!) would help save us room when it comes to cleaning items. I am all for multi-purpose items and this looks like it would fit the bill…especially with our limited space available in the RV!

  35. I’ve never tried them, but I would love to!

  36. My mom was just invited to one of these parties! I would love to try the products as I have heard GREAT reviews for them. Thanks!

  41. Just getting acquainted with Norwex products. I would love to have this cloth. Also got to say I miss your posts, Amy.

    • Thank you, dear. I miss writing!!!! I did just publish another post, though. Two in one day. Woo-hoo! 🙂

  42. verna stoltzfus says:

I use the Norwex cloths for cleaning my windows. They are great! I’d be pleased with a freebee!

  43. I love my Norwex cloths! They have scrubbed away some old icky spots – amazing really.

  44. Hi Amy! Thanks for hosting this giveaway! I would love to try one of these cloths! Cleaning house is definitely not my favorite chore! These would make it better! Have a nice day! Blessings from Bama!

  45. I would love to win one of these. I’m finding it impossible to keep a clean house with two young kids. My best bet is first thing in the morning or weekends while my husband entertains the littles.

  46. I just have to say that I laughed out loud at your cleaning house poster. It SOOOO sums up my life and philosophy of cleaning!

That said, all I have that is Norwex is their glasses cleaning cloth and I do really like that!

This would be a good product to win, I’m sure.

  47. Cat Loughlin says:

I’d love to have one of these. With a busy family and not much time for cleaning, this would be a big help!

  48. I currently dust my house with a tack cloth I bought in the sanding/painting section of the hardware store…I’m pretty sure this would be a huge step up!

  49. No type A neat freaks here! I try to stay on top of the cat hair, but it seems to be everywhere – seriously, I finish vacuuming, put the cleaner away, and suddenly there’s more! What’s with that?! Cleaning flat surfaces doesn’t happen nearly as often as it should (aside from eating surfaces). I’ve heard of Norwex, but never tried it.

My Mom has one, and I’d love to try it out at our home!!

  53. Mary Lou says:

Fingers crossed that I win… Hoping to give it a try.

  54. Oh my how my shower (and husband) would love this. Thanks for the chance!

  55. Heather says:

I’ve heard of them, but never tried them. I have no idea on how to keep my house really clean. I consider it a win if I’m not completely mortified to have someone use the bathroom. Cooking, canning…I’m your girl. Laundry…I do my best. Cleaning….help. If I’m ever a multi-zillionaire I will indulge in a cleaning service first.

  56. As someone who loves CLEAN but DOESN’T, this cool cloth sounds perfect!

  57. This sounds really neat! I’m always looking for way to efficiently clean without chemicals!

  58. Rebecca says:

I would love to have an enviro cloth available in every room of my house!

  67. Rebecca says:

I have heard of Norwex and would love to try one!

  68. I deep clean my bathrooms every other week. The week in between I just clean the toilet and wipe the countertops, empty trash and sweep floor. As for the rest of the house, clean sink and countertops in kitchen is priority along with clean floors.

  69. Rebekah says:

My house is never completely clean! When the floors are clean, the bathrooms are dirty. When the bathrooms are clean, things need dusting. It’s always a work in progress, but I love the idea of cutting back on cost and chemicals with Norwex!

  70. Margo Goldberg says:

This is the first that I have heard of them. Would be interested in giving it a try.

  90. I have been wanting to give these a try, but haven’t broken down and purchased them yet. I am OCD about cleaning so I usually don’t get everything done because I only know how to do it the OCD way…clear every shelf, clean it, arrange the shelf again, move on to the next. I just can’t bring myself to clean around stuff, it all has to come off. If you come in to my house you will see that I usually just don’t clean much because it takes too long and I have 3 kids under 4 and don’t have much time.

  91. Have heard of Norwex but have not been able to budget the initial expenditure. Would love to try anything they have. Thank you for a great give away.

  93. I’d like to try one!

  95. Heard about Norwex, but never tried it. I am Type A, but my house is not spotless because . . . well, we live here. However, I have been trying a modified version of cleaning daily which seems to be working. I have up weeks and down weeks, but the progress is encouraging. Keep on hugging and snuggling on those little ones – at least the ones who want it. 🙂 Thanks for the giveaway, Amy!

  96. Jill F. says:

I have never heard of these cloths. But I am interested now! Sometimes with the children and pets, I think it would be productive to just clean with a leaf blower 🙂

  97. Thanks for the giveaway! I would love to try a Norwex product.

  98. Cleaning is not my favorite activity, partly because I’ve been reading more about the toxic things in cleaners, but haven’t taken the time to experiment with lots of other cleaners. Trying a Norwex cloth would be a good step in the right direction for me. Thank you!

  103. I would love to win! I keep looking at Norwex every so often, but haven’t wanted to spend the $. I have a little cloth I won at a craft show and I love it. I use it to shine my appliances in my kitchen. I’d really like to try the paste too.

I read once about a single mom that cleaned her bathroom when her children were in the tub. She was close and they occasioanlly got longer time to play in the tub. When it is time for our bathroom to get cleaned, I do it while the girls are playing in bubbles.
