Win a Cozy Wall Art Decal of Your Choice! (2 Winners)

I’m not a decorator. In fact, much of the “stuff” in my house is the same as it was when I put it up nearly 8 years ago. Borrrrring.

But right now? We’re nesting. And if nothing else gets done before this baby arrives in a few weeks, I am so glad I said Yes! when Sherry from Cozy Wall Art asked me to browse through their collection. I found a perfect fit for our home!

My husband deserves his Father’s Day tomorrow, friends. Yowza.

wallart5

It took some teamwork (and child supervision ;) ), mostly because of the precarious location. The application instructions were spot on, and I am thrilled with the result! Our new wall art is on the wall where the broken bookcase stood before they dug the new stairs to the basement. (It’s on the right in the first photo here.)

wallart3

The wall has been bare (and boring) ever since, and we thought it would be a fun place to greet our visitors and let them know what they are walking into! Here’s a look from the front door.wallart4

And another look from the landing to the basement.

When Miss 6 carefully read the sign, she exclaimed, “That fits us perfectly!” Right on, sister.

Want to win a decal of your choice (up to $60) from Cozy Wall Art? I’m sure you can find something to fit your home perfectly, too! Simply leave a comment relevant to this post. You can let me know about your decorating prowess, or make me feel better with your lack thereof. ;) If you’ve already picked a favorite, I’d love to know what it is!

Two winners will be randomly chosen (next week, because people, this baby is coming soon!) and notified by email. I know it’s already Father’s Day weekend, but moms, we’re still celebrating you!

  1. Yours looks so great.

I was hoping to see an option about giving thanks or daily bread etc as I have a perfect spot in my kitchen for a decal. Hmmm… I do really like the one about Home is where Love resides. So many cute choices…

Thanks for hosting another great giveaway!

    • Oh my goodness, seeing your husband standing over the stairs like that took my breath! He is a good man indeed. I do love the saying you picked and I love how it looks on your wall.
Best wishes to your family and the new baby.

  2. Tracy Perusin says:

Love your decal! I have recently discovered wall decals and they really help to brighten up the white walls of our military housing!

  3. Sarah V. says:

I love wall decals! It’s such a fun way to decorate.

  4. This would be awesome in our house!!

  5. Kristin Defazio says:

I lack any ability to decorate. I do love the saying you got. It is right on for my house.

  6. That would be the absolutely perfect saying for our family of six too, especially the “loud” part! :)

  7. Vivian S. says:

I love the decal that says “Laundry today or naked tomorrow”! There are some many cute and whimsical ones.

  8. I love it. What a fun saying for your family. Nice give away too!

  9. We use decals to remind us of important things (favorite scriptures and quotes) and to bring some fun into our home. I’m looking for some for my office at work as well to brighten up the dull walls. Would love some more!! :-). Happy almost baby day!

  10. I’ve always wanted a wall decal. Intrigued enough to enter.;)

  11. Misty N. says:

I have always wanted a wall decal.

  12. Love the wall art! It is perfect!

  13. I so wish I was confident as a decorator! I’m a very comfortable “plain Jane,” but I want our home to be inviting. I would like a love quote for our master bedroom by some wedding photos.

  14. wall decals cover my house! So easy and cute!

  15. Jennifer says:

    That’s perfect :)

I love these things and have multiple places picked out in my house where I want words. Hope to win! Thanks!

  16. Jennie C. says:

I likethe scattered blossoms, owl family (for our soon to be 5! owlets) or one of the decorative decals….love them!

  17. We put one of those up in an awkward location too! If I win I will have to put this one up by myself – hubby is DONE with them :-)

  18. Rebecca Loach says:

I agonize over decorating decisions and sometimes take years to make up my mind about things. I love the bird chalkboard decal for the kitchen.

  19. Melinda says:

I love how this looks! We have a similar spot in our house, not sure I could talk my husband into that! I do, however have the perfect spot in my kitchen, which has not been decorated in the 5 years we have lived here!!

  20. That is certainly perfect in your home! I’d like to get something cute for our bedroom or maybe family room.

  21. Sheila Laurence says:

I am so inept at decorating that I’m not even aware of it until I go into someone else’s home. And then I am horrified/shocked. :)

  22. Kelly Berg says:

I suck at decorating. I really like the look of your wall decal! Something like that would maybe spruce up our home.

  23. I have no decorating sense. I love the look of the word decals!

  24. Horrible at decorating, but my excuse is that I like the uncluttered look, i.e. tackily arranged pictures that don’t match and no “accessories” whatsoever. My other excuse is that we “live” in our house with groups of 20 every other week. But I think I will stick with the truth, I am cheap and incompetent with no eye for color.

  25. Our home looks like college students live here:) We don’t own any “new” furniture and we don’t have much in decorations. I would love to decorate; however, our budget is very tight.

    Your wall decal looks great:)

  26. Heather says:

That is a GREAT wall decal! And your husband deserves bonus points for getting it up there…seriously good balance! Maybe he’d like to come and help us figure out how to paint our way, way, really way high ceilings and hang a picture on on our wall with stairs that we still can’t figure out how to get up high enough to hang it? I’m guessing he’s a bit busy right now though :)

  27. Geraldine Erikson says:

We have always want put “Have fun storming the castle” near our exit door. We always say this as the hubby leaves for work.

  28. Christine U says:

My entry has needed some dressing up too. A wall decal would be perfect. I’ve also been looking for an extra little something in my living room. I like some of the options on the Cozy Wall Art site.

  29. The one you selected would be perfect for our house with 3 boys! :)

  30. I love this! I am also currently nesting with Baby #4 and have been “attempting” to do some decorating- as creativity has never been my strong suit :) Looks great!

  31. Love, love, love this! With 6 of us in the house & my oldest son has hearing loss….this is also perfect for our family! Great post & your husband is a trooper! Congrats on the perfect placement of your new wall decor♡

  32. Kate Willner says:

That look amazing. I go through phases of needing to get new things to decorate and then there are phases of getting rid of everything that isn’t immediately useful!

  33. Love this idea! Great choice of a decal – sounds like our family too!

  34. Jessica says:

We are military and rarely get to paint walls. This would be awesome to help personalize our home.

  35. Charlotte Brewer says:

There are tons of awesome choices! My basement is in desperate need of a makeover! Thanks for the chance!

  36. What a neat site! Thanks for introducing us to them. Thinking the Scattered Blossoms decal would go great above our bed!

  37. Cori May says:

That is too cute! I am so not a decorator so this is right up my alley!

  38. Melissa Brown says:

I would love to win a wall decal.

  39. Michelle Richardson says:

The chalkboard wall decal would be an awesome addition to our kitchen.

  40. Love the saying!! We recently used a world map decal on our breakfast bar. I’m living all the creative options!

  41. Love the fun fonts!!! Very cute!

  42. Love it! Neat giveaway. Hope all goes well with your delivery!

  43. Wow, I looked through all the decals and decided it would be hard to choose one!

  44. I love decals! Just haven’t had the courage to put any up yet in our home.

  45. Elizabeth says:

That looks perfect for your living room! My decorating prowess is ZERO. I love art and enjoy designing clothes and all kinds of other creative projects, but I just don’t have the patience to decorate my home. Go figure.

  46. Amy, I’m with you on the decorating. I also have an empty space over our stairs because I haven’t found anything that works. Thanks for the inspiration!

  47. I love the Bird Chalkboard decal! I would like it for the new place.

  48. I love decals but haven’t put any up in our house.
    Thanks for the giveaway !

  49. Jackie Munger says:

Oh my word, we have mostly hand me down furniture which combined with the ugly rental interior of our home makes me appear decoratively challenged. But I have a perfect spot in our dining room where I have been dying to put something. This looks like just the thing!

  50. Jennette says:

Oh my gosh that looks scary! But it sure looks great. Let us know next time you are working on the stairs. We’ve got a ladder you can borrow that works on stairs!!!

  51. My bedroom has blank walls except For a small picture of my daughter sleeping as an infant. I always mean to put something up, but I think I’m nervous about what I choose looking worse than bare walls. Plus as a kid we moved all the time, and when we got married, the first 6 years we moved every year. Now, we’ve been in this house a LONG time (well, at least for me. We are going on 8 yeArs I think) so perhaps it is time to choose wall art. :)

  52. Your decal looks great! I have a bare wall (okay, it’s bare because I took down the picture that has been hanging there for 13 years) in my living room where I have been wanting to put up a wall decal. Great giveaway!

  53. I LOVE wall decals!!! They do make a house a home & brighten up an area that you know just needs something!! My ideal decorating ace in the hole idea(s) !!

  54. It should make you feel better that my husband does the decorating in my house (seriously) and he’s so good at it! Otherwise we wouldn’t have much because it’s really not my thing. He’s been wanting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle decals to hang in our boys’ room, so I would MUCH prefer one of these pretty ones ;)

  55. Love it!!! That is fitting for so many homes! lol Great giveaway

  56. I am not a decorator at all. I never know where to start! In fact, my husband even picks all of our wall colors for our house when we paint… He has a great eye! :). Love the idea of the decals, and my 3 year old is obsessed with John Deere tractors, so when I saw that one, I knew which one I would pick! :). Thanks!

  57. After living here for 5 years .. my decorating finesse is nada !LOL but would love to have a wall that states the finer things in life .. such as love, faith, believe, family etc.. LOL
Thanks for the chance to win !

  58. Cassidy says:

So cute! Love your spindles on your banister and paint color! Looks a lot like my house;)

  59. We moved in our house five years ago and it is still very much decorated the same! I am terrible with getting g around to freshening up decor! I actually have had a picture frame hanging in my house for going on three years with the random stranger pictures in it you get when your purchase the frame! I say they are our long lost adopted family! Lol!

  60. Joellyn A says:

I have an “eclectic” sense of decorating!! Nothing matches… I’m working on it though…lol!!

  61. I could use some updated decorations!

  62. I am most definitely decorating-challenged. Our home is older (built in 1880), and was obviously not designed with any of the modern uses for rooms in mind. Electricity and indoor plumbing weren’t original to the house, much less places for appliances and televisions and things that are normal now. Our TV is currently blocking our fireplace and half of a huge antique mirror. Oy! Even I know that’s a decorating no-no. :)

  63. I am not a decorator at all. But this stuff looks awesome! I’m also expecting a baby in another month or so, so I need to get into this nesting mode!!!

  64. Laura Miller says:

I am not a decorator and would love to win one of these. Thanks!

  65. Amanda N says:

I love the honesty in your decal. I am afraid any decal I were to get would have to be similar.

  66. Christie says:

We moved 8 weeks ago. My decorations consist of hanging some pictures on the nail holes the previous owners left and popping a silk flower arrangement on the mantle.
In my defense, in these 8 weeks I had a miscarriage with D&C as well as a knee injury that’s left me on the couch the last 2 weeks with surgery tomorrow morning. But I doubt that I would have gotten anything up even without health issues!

  67. My husband decorates, and I stink at it, would love to win. Thx

  68. I love the wall art you selected for the wall over the stairs. I have zero decorating style or sense!! A beautiful saying for our hallway would liven it up – I think!!

  69. I like the decal that you chose!

  70. I am not a decorator at all, but I love these and would love to win one.

  71. While my home used to look much more magazine photo worthy, with four kids under 6, my decorating style is currently Legos, Cheerios, and Sippy cups. ;) I have loved seeing the transformation in your house! Many blessings with the new baby!

  72. Stephanie S says:

I have pictures on the walls but I would love a saying in the middle of them to bring everything together.

  73. Jennifer D says:

I like to experiment with different designs. I figure if I don’t like something, I can always paint over it. I would love to put up something welcoming in the breezeway. I love the decal you chose. Great pick!

  74. Cheryl B. says:

I would love to liven up my split entryway but don’t have a clue what do to. This is a neat idea. Thanks for the giveaway!

  75. Kelly A says:

Looks great, Amy. My walls are screaming for some attention :)

  76. Love it! It would be perfect for our home too. Often decorating takes back seat to kid needs, monthly budget needs, and donating. But that would make my family smile!

  77. Melissa Erwin says:

I have been wanting to try a wall decal. Thanks for the chance!

  78. Love these decals and how easy they seem to use!! I never redecorate either. I would love to win one!

  79. I love the one that says “Every love story is beautiful but ours is my favorite” It would look so nice on the wall at the head of our bed (it’s currently blank).

  80. There is nothing on our walls! We bought a foreclosure and have been working on it for…wait for it…2.5 years! Yes! And, there is still so much to do. An easy but nice piece of wall décor would be wonderful!

  81. The end of our hallway is the perfect spot for a dash of inspiration & color! Not a good spot for a picture, but a decal would fit the bill GREAT!

  82. Rebecca says:

I would love to win! I have a wall that’s just screaming for something on it! I never redecorate, unless it’s to update the kids’ pictures on the walls.

  83. Deborah says:

I have never tried decals, but would like to. I absolutely love that quote, it would fit our family perfectly!

  84. I have a perfect spot for one of these decals!

  85. I decorate with family pics. That’s my modus operendi and I’m sticking to it ;-) (it’s a good coverup of my total lack of interior decorating talent!). Thanks for the giveaway!

  86. I love these decals. We just moved into a new (and larger) home, so winning this giveaway would be great!

  87. Kelly Hess says:

Would love the Fairytale Heart Tree Wall Decal for my 2 year old!

  88. Oo. This one would be a good one to win. I’m like you… no decorating bone in this body!

  89. I’m not much of a decorator but I love how the vinyl word art can spruce up a room pretty easily!!

  90. Connie Sue Jacobs says:

We were just talking about this the other day. A wall decal seems much easier than a stencil!

  91. Cheryl Armstrong says:

Love the decal. I have been searching for a perfect addition to our living room space and a wall decal would be great.

  92. That looks so good. You made a wise choice. It would be fun to win and pick out one.

  93. Most of our stuff is the exact same as when we moved in 10 years ago. boo!

  94. Billie Thein says:

I think the one you chose looks great and fits our house perfectly as well:) Best of luck to you prepare for the arrival of that little one!!

  95. Love this!! its so you Amy!! I have thought abt doing a decal just never found one that “suits” us

  96. Doreen Sowers says:

Your decal made me smile. Your Looks really good! We just bought our first house and would love to get to pick something out to put in the new house.

  97. Alison S. says:

I would love to find a wall decal that fit our family. But I have yet to be brave enough to put one up. :)

  98. Julie Griswold says:

I love it!! Its so cool… and an easy way to decorate considering I am not very good at that stuff either. Keeping my fingers crossed I win!!

  99. Love. Love. Love the decal!
I am HORRIBLE at decorating too. Good thing my hubby is not – because that is the ONLY reason our house is (semi) put together. I guess growing up with 4 half-sisters does that to you. :-) When we first met, I walked into his house and was astonished at how well it was decorated! And the guy knows how to pick colors! His dining room had light blue walls and a light yellow ceiling! Sounds horrific – it was STUNNING! Made it so light and airy! Who would have guessed?!?

  100. The decal looks great! I’m such a chicken . . . I’ve never tried the decals, even though they look so easy! I might have to give it a try. My walls are pretty sad! :(

  101. Kathryne says:

I am horrible decorator and it takes me forever to try things. I’ve been wanting to do a decal for awhile and this would be the perfect opportunity! = )
    Your decal looks great!!

  102. Eileen Loomis says:

The decal art looks fun. Since we’re empty nesters our house is no longer loud, but I can sure remember those days! Enjoy your time with your bigs and your littles… They grow up sooo fast!

  103. Yeah! Non-decorator’s unite! Very cute decal! Love it!

  104. My MIL gave me a wall decal for our second son’s bedroom that I really liked, but that was in our previous house. The only bummer with the decals is that you can’t take them with you! I’d love to pick one for our current (hopefully long-term) home!

  105. Amy Miron says:

There are so many great decals to choose from!! My wall have been the same since we moved in eleven years ago and are in need of an update. We have plans to begin this summer. I would love to include one of these decals in my updated decor!!

  106. Jill Franklin says:

I love the wall art! I have always wanted one! Can’t wait to start looking for one.

  107. Heather mu says:

Thanks for the chance to win

  108. Helena Hatcher says:

Love this!! So us as we are empty nester & refuse to grow into old boring people. :)

  109. Darlene says:

I’m a terrible decorator too.! My house has been the same since I moved here 15 years ago. Would love to win something new to decorate with. Thank you.

  110. Jennifer Lewis says:

I love that you have one that fits your family so well! Great idea!

  111. Acmommy says:

Your wall looks great, that is a great family quote! I struggle a bit with decorating, but when I actually do something, wow, it feels wonderful. Right now, I need to finish my main hallway picture galleria. :)

  112. This would be great for our family. I am also not a great decorator, and my little house tends to look boring. We are also a loud, crazy, happy family. :)

  113. We just moved into a new home so the possibilities for decorating are endless.

  114. These are the best way to decorate! No dusting or vacuuming required :)

  115. Sheila W. says:

I have *always* wanted one of these!!

  116. Totally blaming it on the post baby hormones (those still exist at 10 weeks postpartum, right?), but the “Life’s greatest blessing, family” made me tear up. That’s what life is all about!

  117. We’ve lived in our house for 2.5 years and all our wall/decorating stuff is still in the garage in moving boxes! That is one of our goals for this summer to get some stuff on the walls (other than the gazillion preschool drawings that are currently occupying much of the space! :) ). These decals are so cute!

  118. Love the vinyl saying you chose! We are hoping to redo our guest room this summer, and would love to have a decal to add! Thanks for the chance to win. Praying for a safe, easy delivery for you and another sweet healthy baby!
Excited to see the newest family member :)

  119. Sheree McKane says:

What a brave man, your husband for doing that. I love the saying, I am sure that would fit most homes. Thank you for the chance to win…..enjoy your nesting

  120. Katherine Williams says:

I would love one of these!

  121. Cheryl Newton says:

Whatever the opposite of decorating prowess is, that’s what I have. I have fear of decorating. I’m would rather have naked walls than put up something that looks ridiculous.

  122. Laurie C says:

We don’t have any wall decals in our house but I could definitely use a little something new on our walls!

  123. What a fun giveaway! :)

  124. Melanie says:

Wow! I am glad your hubby didn’t fall!

  125. I love your decorating adventures! I share your lack of decorating (skill? motivation?). I like things to look nice, but honestly, I like simple things that don’t require a lot of dusting. So…I think a wall cling would be perfect! Thanks for offering the giveaway!

  126. Michelle Harrison says:

these decals are cute! I need to redo my daughter’s room soon–it doesn’t seem right to have her in the room with the nursery stuff since she’s almost four–but I have no idea what to do. We’re big fans of beige walls and decals here, so these would be great!

  127. Love the one you chose & would love to have one of these for our house!

  128. What a fun way to decorate!

  129. Meredith says:

So cute! I can’t decorate at all!

  130. My decorating sounds like yours. We’ve been married ten years, and not much has changed in the decorating way! It would be fun to pick out something new! Thank you!

  131. Emily Nielsen says:

We have a lot of wall hangings, mostly given as gifts over the years (my husband is a pastor). I’m not a very fancy decorator but I like to have wall hangings! The decal looks great on your wall!

  132. I love these! I used to have several in our old apartment. I would love to put up a new one in our new place :-D

  133. Rose B. says:

I love these wall decals. I’ve been wanting to put one over my front door for ages. :) Yours is awesome!

  134. I love decals. I put some silver airplane ones in my son’s bedroom and they look great. I thought they were easy to apply too.

  135. Your wall art looks awesome there and I love the saying you used!

My decor advice is the quote about “having in your home only things you love or things you need!” I may not totally stick to it, but I think it is great advice! And decorate the way YOU want, not because of what someone else says! :)

  136. I’d love a decal like this to greet guests into our home!

  137. I love love love these decals! :) ONe of my faves that I have seen is a Marilyn Monroe quote!

  138. Jennifer (robbins) A. says:

My favorite wall decals from Cozy Wall Art, is “Triangles Single Size Wall Pattern Decals”! : )

  139. My favorite way to decorate is with pictures of our family and some wall art would be perfect to go with it!!

  140. I don’t have a single wall decal.. Time to start looking into all the possibilities!

  141. What an awesome decal you chose! I love it. :) We are just starting to redecorate our house and I have spent MANY hours on Etsy drooling over all the gorgeous decals. ;)
