What’s Your Mother’s Day Love Language?

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Groupon for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.

Last May I spent Mother’s Day weekend in blowing red dirt, frying my winter white feet, cheering on my favorite baseball player to a second place win in a big tournament. We drove home through a hail storm and tornado warnings, finally arriving past midnight after driving two hours out of our way to pick up our littles from the grandparents.

Flowers and brunch are nice, but I wouldn’t live this crazy, messy life any other way!

Worth it. (And nothing that a spray bottle of lavender and frankincense didn’t heal right up.)

Watching my children perform and compete is one of my favorite things ever. It’s a gift!

I consider myself fairly low maintenance and usually prefer acts of service over physical gifts. Rub my shoulders or do my dishes any day! I figure I know what I want and can probably find a great deal on it, too, but this year I may send my kids and husband to Groupon’s Mother’s Day Gift Shop. Did you even know they have one?! Total news to me, but take a look!

Really, now. I must have this shirt!

And this word art? Perfection for the non-decorator that is me. Wouldn’t this look great on one of those collage walls? (Feature walls? What do people call those?!) I think it needs to go over my couch with a bunch of random pretty things around it. And now you know about my decorating skills.

Oh, look! Now we’re talking! In addition to great physical gifts, Groupon has some awesome services and experiences. My husband actually is the best masseuse around, but I wouldn’t complain about getting away for a few spa hours!

Speaking of getting away. We gave the kids Blue Crew kits for Christmas, which include vouchers for them. So now WE need Royals tickets so we can take them to a game! I think I’ll have to pounce on this one. I’m surprised Groupon even has this offer, because tickets are quite popular this year!

Not this year for us with a baby, but some of you may be ready for a destination gift. I’ve heard great things about Mackinaw Island and want to go someday!

Groupon’s Mother’s Day Campaign truly includes something for everyone at a great price, and they even have two different $0 Deals! Make sure to enter for your chance to win a Mother’s Day $0 Deal for 1 Year’s Worth of Spa Days on Groupon. Or don’t, because I want to win it for myself! I told my mom and my sister that just as soon as all three of us girls (including my sister-in-law) are finished having and nursing babies, the four of us must book a spa weekend. We’ve never done anything like that, and I’m going to make it happen because after a collective 17 babies between the three of us, we deserve it! (My sister is currently pregnant with her fourth, so it will be at least another year before we go.)

Be sure to log in to your Groupon account and check out the Mother’s Day Mystery Promo sale happening on 5/7-5/8. Users can receive anywhere from 20%, 25%, or 30% off up to 3 Local Deals. Login and see what you scored! (I think I’ll give my husband my login information and show him this post for ideas. I truly hope that t-shirt and wall art are still available!)

So, tell me. I know we all love our sticky hugs and kisses from the littles. We are blessed beyond measure to be MOM in the first place, and really don’t need anything else. But if you could pick, what is your love language gift? Do you want something to unwrap?

I love the word art piece, but it’s not appearing on my Groupon page. Do you have a link for that one?
