Because some of you have flat out told me I’m being stalked for updates…
Yep. I still (as of 10:45 pm, CST on Saturday, 7/12) look like this, stain on the belly and all. I would have lost a lot of money if I was a betting girl! After our last two children arrived about 20 days before their due dates, I was kind of sort of prepared for a three-peat.
With an initial due date of July 22 and a sonogram date of July 16, I’ve been telling people “probably by July 10″ for months now! Ha! Joke’s on me. I had a friend comment at the store the other night something about “Uh-oh. Looks like this will be your stubborn, head-strong one.”
Uh… NO MA’AM. We already have a few of those! This one will be our laid back, go with the flow one, FOR SURE! (A mom can hope, right?!)
Anyway, still pregnant. Also? Still perfectly content. We really needed to get through the first week of July with no baby, and I am so grateful that we were able to. This past week has been a bonus week, because even after six pregnancies I am firmly in the “babies are easier on the inside than on the outside!” camp. I’m not sleeping well, of course, and have quite a lot of sciatic/pelvic/lower back/groin discomfort (I walk around like an arthritic 90 year old at times) but it’s all good. No harm no foul.
I could, however, use a little entertainment. Anyone up for some guessing?
When will I have this baby?!
Boy or Girl?
Not even going to ask about the length, because that’s something I never remember anyway. You already know my “due dates.” (Always in quotes because babies come when they come! Mr. 8: “Kind of like an educated guess, right?” Sure enough, son!)
Possible helpful guessing background info:
Baby #1: 9 days before due date. Girl. 6 pounds, 4 ounces
Baby #2: 5 days before due date. Boy. 7 pounds, 4 ounces
Baby #3: 7 days before due date. Girl. 7 pounds even
Baby #4: 18 days before due date. Boy. 6 pounds, 15 ounces
Baby #5: 20 days before due date. Girl. 6 pounds, 9 ounces
Well, friends, what do you think? Who is this baby and when will he/she arrive?! (Can I just tell you that I am the weirdo that loves the guessing? Love not knowing gender. Love not knowing when I’m going into labor. Minority. Oddball. Yes. I know.)
