Are you talking about the bone-in chicken breasts? If so, I saw this post on a Frugal Friday a while back and LOVE it:
http://frugalcooker.blogspot.com/2008/08/frugal-friday-using-bone-in-chicken.html

As a recovering vegetarian (now married to a cow farmer), I've always been a bit squeamish about chicken. But I have no qualms about using these chicken breasts because I've cut off anything questionable when taking them apart. As an aside, I'd highly recommend flash freezing them separately before putting in a bag. Last week I finally just dumped the whole chicken-sickle in the crockpot in frustration.

If you weren't talking about bone in breasts, um, never mind! :>)
