It doesn’t get any easier than this two-ingredient blast from the past. Growing up, my grandma would serve rosy red applesauce. Sweet, spicy, and delicious. I treat my family, too, but warm from the stove top. This applesauce is so simple, and it’s beautiful enough for a holiday dinner.
Warm Cinnamon Candy Applesauce
4 cups unsweetened applesauce (I use homemade)
½ cup red cinnamon imperials
Add applesauce and cinnamon candies to a saucepan. Heat to medium. Stir occasionally until candy is dissolved.
