Sweet enough for Cupid himself, and a fun way to get some vitamins in the kiddos, these Valentine’s Day Fruit Kabobs are a hit. Who wouldn’t want to eat fruit on a stick?! Add in a festive version of my favorite fruit dip and you’ll have a colorful, healthy treat for any Valentine’s Day party.

Valentine’s Day Fruit Kabobs
Items Needed for the Kabobs
- 10 inch bamboo skewers
- assorted, prepared fresh fruit (kiwi, grapes, pineapple, strawberries, blueberries, etc.)
- paper hearts or heart stickers
Assembly Instructions
- Thread fresh fruit onto skewers, leaving about one inch empty on the top and bottom.
- Tape paper hearts or stickers onto the ends of the skewers.
- Serve with Cupid’s Fruit Dip.
Cupid’s Fruit Dip
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup marshmallow cream
- 1½ ounces red gelatin powder (I used half of a 3 ounce jello box.)
Whip cream cheese, marshmallow cream, and gelatin powder with a hand mixer until light and fluffy. Chill until served with kabobs.
***With supervision, and if they’re careful, children can assemble their own kabobs. My four year old enjoyed making patterns with the fruit.
***Feel free to use any size skewer. Even toothpicks would be fun for mini-kabobs!

These are so cute!! I love them, Amy!
These reminded me of Aunt Shelly. She made something similar to this using doughnut holes. She then drizzled an icing over the top of the fruit. They are not as healthy, but they too were very yummy.
Doughnut holes. Brilliant! Hmmm… I may have to try that for Easter? 4th of July? Oh, the possibilities.
These are great!
And what a perfect way to counter all that candy that Valentine’s Day brings.
Every little bit helps when it comes to the inevitable sugar rush, right?
Great, you can leave out the red gelatin and use a little marishino cherry juice to make the dip a deep pink. That makes it more healthy and VEGAN!!!!!!!!!! I am going to send this to my grandson’s class instead of cupcakes.
Oh, I even have a jar of cherries in the fridge. Great idea!
These kabbobs look fabulous! They just scream-spring will come!!!! what a perfect thing to help the winter blues!!!
Great- and if you want an even healthier, yummy dip- try this.
Substitute a can of yougart, custard style for the marshmallow cream.
Then I add a splash of vanilla, and a just enough honey to make it like you like it.
you can use the m. cherry juice if you like.
We use this for dipping fruit and also pretzels. The children and guests always love it.
Yes! Yogurt makes for a fabulous healthy dip. Yum.
