They Come Home {Finer Things Friday}

It was inevitable, that first day of school, and for us, it came this week.  On Wednesday morning we escorted them down the sidewalk and across the street, camera in hand.

I love our little school.  I appreciate the relationship we have with the staff, and I’m thankful that my husband is mere steps away from the kids during the day.  It’s a good place to be.

The end of the school day, though…

When the “Kids!  There are!  (“There they are” for those of you who don’t speak toddler.)  Home!” …

And the running, and the squeals, and the hugging…

THAT.  The coming home is a Finer Thing.

What Finer Things are you celebrating this week?  Link up and let us know!

    Amy,

    Those pictures of your bigger kids holding their brother seriously make me want more kids! There is nothing like sibling love! ;)

      This is the first baby where I’ve felt like I have really BIG kids around the house. Older. Helpful. It is glorious! (I say have more. ;) )
