Yesterday afternoon my six-year-old asked (as nonchalantly as her ornery self could muster) if I would be getting into the refrigerator “the rest of the day.”
Why yes, I would.
The end.
Until I found this. In (you guessed it) my refrigerator.

Can you read it?
“Mom. Thac u For Being my mom.”
I love that girl!

When I was teaching, my students gave me pictures and cards – it always touched my heart. The love of a child is so big and pure. Thanks for sharing that with me!
Today I’m celebrating good food…maybe next week I’ll be able to celebrate the kitchen being done.

How cute! I, too, got a little paper like that this morning on the kitchen table. It must be a six year old little girl thing. And gotta love that inventive/phonetic spelling!! She did a great job on “being”!! Too cute!
