Swagbucks Birthday Celebration

Happy second birthday, Swagbucks! If you know me at all, you know I love my Swagbucks search engine and toolbar.  With it, I have earned enough bucks to help pay for Christmas, indulge in Starbucks when we’re in the city, and I’ve stashed some away to surprise my hubby with a big (to us) gift for his 40th birthday coming up.  So excited!

Today, Swagbucks is rolling out a new site and new features.  If you haven’t yet signed up, now is the time!.  Use the code FINERTHINGS to get your new account started with 6 bucks.  Actually, that might be 60 bucks, because as of today all bucks are awarded X 10.  (Prize numbers are X 10 also.  Don’t let it spook you, it’s all incremental.)

Throughout the day, Swagcodes will be awarded on Facebook, Twitter, and the Swagbucks blog, so you might want to follow the swag people there.  Have fun!

Is this only for new sign-ups? I tried the code and it didn’t work :(

  2. I got an e-mail with a code – 10for1 I think it was, good for 10 SBs?

OK, if I’m doing my math correctly, you actually get more bang for your (swag)buck if you buy the cheaper Amazon gift cards, right? It’s 90 SBs per dollar for the $5 Amazon card, versus 118 SBs per dollar for the $50 card. And yikes, 126 SBs per dollar for the $25 card. Am I missing something here? Can you only use one code (so like one $5 card) per order or some such??

    • Amy says:

yes! The $5 Amazon cards are the best value, but you can only buy 5 of them in a month. So… I usually stock up on them, then move to the pricier Amazon cards.

    • Amy says:

Then I stockpile all of my Amazon codes in my Amazon account. You can use as many as you want.
