I’m not there quite yet, but oh, I feel it coming on!
My tween is mostly fabulous, marvelous, and irresistible. (She also can be a little bit frustrating, maddening, and irritating.) She is my Mini Me, and I’m a wee bit apprehensive (and really a lot excited!) about the challenges and champions coming in the next several years, simply because she is my Mini Me!
Sisterhood Magazine sent me a few of their most recent editions to peruse. My girl loves to read and she loves to be in the know (friends, she is already so much smarter than her mother) so I am thankful for this Christian publication for teen girls!
Sisterhood Magazine is a global sisterhood for teen girls. Sisterhood Magazine exists to strengthen girls in their faith, guiding them in developing healthy relationships, providing healthy role models and teaching positive self-image. The magazine is a general interest magazine, touching on everything that is important in a teen girl’s life, but from a faith-based perspective.
We come alongside moms in every way possible to help raise up a new generation of teen girls who love God. We connect moms with the issues their daughters are facing through our issue-specific online discussion guides and our free monthly Mom’s eNewsletter.
I wanted to share this resource with you because I know many of you have teens who would enjoy the magazine right now. While I do think it’s a quality publication, do know that it is definitely geared toward teens, and even in the sample issue (take a look!) there are topics I do not want my girl reading about yet.
If you know a teen who would enjoy Sisterhood Magazine, you’re in luck. I’ve got three one-year subscriptions to give away! To enter, simply fill in the form below.
Giveaway ends Sunday, September 22, at 11:59 pm, CST. Three winners will be randomly chosen and notified by email. This post will be updated with winner names.
Raise your hand if you have or currently are parenting a teen. What’s your favorite thing about parenting a teen? Those of you who aren’t there yet, what are you most excited about? Most nervous about?
