Salty Sweet Party Popcorn

This stuff should come with a warning label, or at least a 12-step recovery program.  It is that addictive.  Gather the basics, then make it like you want it.  There is no wrong way!

Salty Sweet Party Popcorn

  • 8 cups popped popcorn
  • 1 package (24 oz.) white almond bark

Optional Add-ins

  • pretzels
  • M&Ms
  • sunflower kernels
  • red hot candies
  • peanuts

Mix popcorn with favorite add-ins.  Melt almond bark.  Pour over popcorn combination.  Stir to coat well.

Spread coated mixture out on wax paper or parchment paper until set and “dry.”  Break apart.  Store in an airtight container.

*** Fun for any holiday; simply change the color of M&Ms. Add candy corn in the fall!
*** Quick to make; easy to package for gift giving.

  1. Just had some of this over the weekend and you are right. Can’t stop eating it!! I like the idea of adding red hots. I might make some of my own and try that.

  2. My family’s been making a version of this for a few years now – always a favorite! One difference is that we add appx. 1/2 cup of peanut butter to the almond bark before pouring it over the popcorn mix. MMMMM!!!

  3. that looks great!

  4. Oh – that does sound addicting! Sweet and salty is the way to go! I’ll take mine with peanuts and M &M’s! :)

  5. That looks dangerously addictive- I’m afraid to try it, but I think I have to!
