Puddles {Finer Things Friday}

See that puddle?

I don’t remember the last time we had a puddle anywhere.

It’s been raining for more than 12 hours.  The kids already had today off of school because we had conferences earlier in the week.  We all slept in and awoke to the quenching sound of raindrops.

It’s dark.  It’s dreary.  It’s perfect.

  1. Celebrating wonderful weather for exploring outside 🙂

  2. Oh, that weather is my favorite! I bet those puddles would be very fine to jump in, too 😉

  3. We don’t get many puddles around here either. Every time it rains really hard, I promise myself to let the kids play in the puddles, but then it dries up and it’s too late. Some day…

  4. I love rain. I grew up on the west coast. My winters were mostly rain and very little snow. I never thought I would say it but now that I am far from home, I miss a good rain storm now and then.

  5. Thanks so much for hosting again! It’s been raining a ton here too. When you walk through our yard, it sounds like you’re stepping on a wet sponge.

  6. Thank you Lord for the rain! The kids wish it were snow. I am enjoying the dribble drabble of the raindrops with a big cup of Mocha goodness. Yum!
