I like the idea of working myself out of a job, and my kiddos like it, too, when it means exercising creativity and independence. Lately, they have taken great pride in making their own lunch and/or snacks. Peanut Butter Honey Roll-ups are always a winner because they can do it themselves, and they each can make their favorite variation.

Peanut Butter Honey Roll-ups
- flour tortillas
- peanut butter
- honey
- cinnamon
Spread peanut butter on a tortilla. Drizzle with honey. Sprinkle with cinnamon. Roll up and enjoy!

Just like a sandwich with many different toppings, there are lots of ways to make a peanut butter roll-up suit your taste!
Roll-up Variations
1. Go bananas. Add banana slices, or roll it up around a whole banana.
2. Apple cinnamon. Add thinly sliced apples. (Yes, I sliced the apples.)
3. S’mores. Add chocolate chips and marshmallows.
4. Cinnamon raisin. Add raisins or craisins to the mix. (Ooo, chocolate covered raisins would be good, too!)

The same idea would work with cream cheese and veggies, but we’re on a peanut butter kick right now. What other variations should we try?

Try adding granola. This makes for a more filling wrap can that almost be a meal. I had this with apples and raisins in restaurant once, and it was really good.
You could also try adding chocolate chips or chocolate sauce (with the bananas sounds great), different nut butters, or grilling them briefly to make the outside crispy and the pb kinda melty.
Granola is a great idea!
Interesting idea never thought of this!
We make these all the time. We have done peanut butter, peanut butter & jelly, and peanut butter & nutella (my oldest son’s current favorite).
A fun “desert” type roll up is to spread butter, sprinkle on cinnamon sugar, and add sprinkles. My boys and I have named this one a “Shimmy, Shimmy, Shake, Shake” because of the way we shake on the sprinkles.
Oh, if I let me kids loose with “dessert” toppings, they would have a blast!
Weve made these before & wrapped them in tin foil & placed in our bon fire pit till toasty ! YUM You can add marshmellows/chocolate pieces too!
Will definitely keep that one in mind for our next camping trip!
I am going to try this with sunbutter! (peanut allergy at our house) I bet the kids will love making these.
I bet one made from Nutella would be super. What a great idea. My kiddo is getting to the age where she loves to do things herself, and this is a perfect chance for her to do that.
I’ve still NEVER eaten Nutella (I know!) but I’ve no doubt it would be super tasty!
I recognize that Aldi honey – and sometimes Aldi has their own Berryhill brand of nutella – try it! (And then don’t get mad when, um, you eat the whole jar with a spoon.)
Oooo, I’ll have to look for that!
Love when they can do it themselves! They eat more enthusiastically when they make it, too!
thanks so much for this! I have at TON of tortillas and didn’t know what to do with them all. will make some of these for sure! gracious
Trying this tomorrow for lunch. The kids are excited. Thanks for posting.
All time new favorite snack food! The oldest just got his braces on so he is missing out, but the rest of us are hooked!
Glad you like it! I love that my kids can do it themselves. Now if they would just learn to clean up their mess…
Where I work they add banana and walnuts and they are sold in the cafeteria as “Power Wraps”. They always sell out!
Yum. Such a great combination!
Just made this today……..Peanut Butter with Nutella and sprinkled with coconut……….Omg
