Peaches ‘N Cream Muffins

Nothing says summertime like fresh fruit, and we’ve been gorging on it lately! These melt-in-your-mouth muffins were inspired by some very ripe peaches and half a container of 1/2 and 1/2 sent over by some neighbors who didn’t want it to spoil while they went on vacation.  (Whatever works, right?!)

I haven’t tried it, but I’m betting you could do the same thing with strawberries… or blueberries… or raspberries… Let me know if you try another fruit!

Oh My Goodness, the fat and calorie content in these muffins is outrageous. I am sure they are delicious but would not feed them to my kids.

  8. Oh my! Those look really good. I’ve been buying peaches at Aldi’s for .25 cents each. I have some on my counter that I was saving for a cobbler (with a Don’t eat me sign on them) lol, but I might just have a change in plans.
Thanks so much for joining in the fun on Cupcake Tuesday!

I think I’ll be baking these this afternoon (as long as the mercury doesn’t rise TOO much) with some reduced produce organic peaches I snagged yesterday. :) I’ll let you know what we think! I have to say I was a little surprised to see an earlier commenter leery about feeding these to her kids… these are the kind of good, stick-with-you calories I’m happy to feed my children in the morning. I want those little ones satiated to start our days!
