I am slightly confused with this recipe.. Do you crush the whole cookie, filling included? Or just the chocolate halves, removing the filling? Please let me know? As no recipe makes this point clear.

You had me at Oreo, but these look fabulous. And easy enough to make along with other cookies!

@Jenni Rom, Brilliant! I never would've thought of that, but we love Nutter Butters. It's been years since I've had them... but I remember them fondly. I bet they'd taste a lot like buckeyes. Yum!

Have you tried them with Nutter Butters?! I figured if it worked with Oreos that Nutter Butters would be good too. Same deal, but I prefer them with milk chocolate almond bark.

We actually like these better than the Oreo ones.
Merry Christmas!

There goes my weight loss plan! I'm afraid to try out the recipe for fear that I'll want to make it again and again! Seriously though, these would make great holiday gifts to neighbors, hostess gifts, teachers, etc. Thanks!

I have been making these for a couple years and LOVE them! They are also great with different flavorings added, such as orange extract, almond extract, mint extract, etc.

I had forgotten all about these until I saw them on your site. Years ago someone made these for a family reunion and one of my uncles just loved them. I can't wait to try them out.
