This No-Fail Peanut Butter Cocoa Fudge is the only fudge I’ve ever made. Why mess with perfection, right?
Seriously, though, if you’ve had trouble with fudge in the past, try this! It takes all of 10 minutes to make. And gosh, peanut butter and cocoa… how can that be wrong in any way?

No-Fail Peanut Butter Cocoa Fudge
- 1 cup (2 sticks) butter
- 1¼ cup peanut butter (we prefer chunky)
- 3 tablespoons baking cocoa
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3½ cups powdered sugar, sifted
In a large sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat. Add peanut butter and stir until well combined. Remove from heat. Stir in cocoa and vanilla. Stir in sifted powdered sugar.
Spread mixture into a buttered 8×8 pan. Refrigerate a couple hours until set. Cut into 1 inch squares. Store in an airtight container.

I am SO trying this!!!! If i had enough butter in the house, I”d make it right now.
You can also make this sugar free by using a sugar free powder sugar… I have to order mine online but it is an idea for those who want to cook for people that can’t have sugar…
Looks very good. Any ideas on making it less dangerous to the pants size?
I have my batching setting in the fridge right now! Can’t wait till dinner time and we can have a little treat around the fire.
I will have to try this one! I had a horrible experience making home made fudge over the weekend….this looks so simple! Thanks!
I’ll be trying this recipe soon! Thanks!
Wow!! Looks amazing…showed this to my daughter. I’m pretty sure we’re making these tonight. Thanks for sharing.

Amy, it’s like you know the way to my heart. PB and chocolate. NOM!
I will admit – I’ve NEVER had a batch of fudge to turn out.
Maria fell off the no-sugar wagon and wow, is she enjoying this fudge! But it’s my 30th birthday. That’s good enough reason to eat chocolate all day.
Happy Birthday! (way late) btw — I’m headed your way January 2. Will you be around? I owe you a couple items…
Will pick up the ingredients that I do not have this weekend and will definitely make with my kids this weekend
/thanks
How long would this stay good in air-tight container in fridge? And could you freeze it? I just made it & it’s awesome – but I need to eat in moderation LOL
Yes, I freeze mine.
In the fridge… not sure, but I would guess a few weeks.
Just tasted this. This is my first and it is great. I am so going to make another batch. It is so easy!!! I added chopped roasted walnuts.
Mmm, walnuts would be a great addition!
My 16 yo daughter made this for a party. It turned out delicious, like mixed up peanut butter cups. Thanks!
I just made a batch of this fudge and it’s cooling in the fridge. I had to try a little “tester” bite while it was still warm. Oh, it’s sooo goood!!! If the texture is good after it chills…this may indeed be the PERFECT fudge recipe that I’ve been looking for!!! Thank you!
I hope it set up well for you!
I just made this recipe and it is delish! I was short on butter, so I used 1 & 1/4 sticks of butter instead of 2. And I used unsweetened peanut butter and used 1 & 3/4 to make up for the lack of butter. I also used 3 cups powder sugar instead of 3 1/2 cups. I’m surprised the fudge still came together beautifully, and set perfectly! It’s not too sweet & extra peanutbuttery! Thanks for the recipe!
Excellent. So glad it worked for you!
