Most mother I know would love to be able to stay home with but with the economy the way it is most moms have to work. I started doing family child care so I could stay home with my children. Thirtyone years later I am still doing it with love. Every one of my mothers would love to stay home but are unable to do so .I have a lot of single parents who have no choice.

Being a stay at home mom is the only choice I ever wanted. Being there with and for your kids is the BEST! I wouldn’t miss it for anything.

I count it such a blessing to stay home and raise my own children! It has come with many sacrifices, not one of which I wouldn’t do over. It amazes me to see the silly things the kids come up with and the things they teach me about what’s really important in life! I also work from home a little bit, which adds a whole other dimension to my day, scheduling work around the kids, but it’s totally worth it. I wouldn’t trade it for the world!

Hi and thanks for this contest.

It costs us everything for me to stay home and homeschool our kids, but I treasure our lives here so much. We are charged by our Lord to shepherd our children by representing Him to them. It takes lots of time to do that. I am learning to surrender daily and my children are following!!! It is a lifelong journey, but I do feel that we have chosen LIFE, and what is BEST, over a facsimile of life, and what is only good, or even in some ways, bad.
