Angella where did you find your mistinted paint and how much did you pay for it was it expensive? I really need to paint my entire house agian and last time I got a five gallon of mistinted paint it worked out really well.The place has gone outta business . So I am loking for paint at a discount again.

I have a friend who wanted a burgandy accent wall. We found 3 gallons of burgandy that were similar. She used one instead of buying a tinted primer and mixed the other two together to do her living and dining rooms. Turned out beautiful for $15.

now I dont exactly call this a ‘mistint’ but rather an awesome tint!

See my blog for current & upcoming home decor – fashion colors and you see that this is RIGHT on target.

And, unlike the most awful, horrible, irritating and well stupid canary/nearly-fluorescent yellow that someone painted the tiny country home we stayed in this summer (they had painted it AFTER they showed us photos of a nice airy pristine white little home and we had agreed to stay there), this is a likeable yellow you can actually live with.

I LOVE mistinted paint! It is the best bargain and I have found some wonderful colors and specialty paints! Great job!

Gorgeous color! We are big fans of Oops paint as well. At one point we had 4 houses (3 rentals) and at least 2 rooms in each one were painted with $5 cans of mistints. Always a bargain.

I almost always ONLY buy the ‘oops’ paint nowadays. Aside from saving money it’s more fun to wonder what the color will really look like since you can hardly tell from the little dap on the lid.
