Sometimes I dread typing up this weekly menu plan, but it’s always just what I need to get my week organized. Especially after a 5-day “vacation” of sorts around here, we are ready for some order!
Here’s what we’ll be eating this week.
Sunday, November 29
- blueberry pancakes with homemade syrup, scrambled eggs
- special hot cocoa, apples, light snacks
- stuffed jalapenos, Sherry’s Aussie Chicken, salad, baked potatoes, homemade bread (We shared with guests from Minnesota!)
Weekday Breakfast Plans – oatmeal with raisins, lazy granola, eggs (scrambled/fried) with toast or muffins, french toast
Weekday Lunches – leftovers, peanut butter and honey sandwiches, grilled cheese sandwiches, quesadillas, fresh fruit and veggies
Suppertime
- homemade pizza or pizza braid
- veggie beef soup, french bread
- turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, green bean casserole (I still have a free 15-pound Butterball in my extra fridge. Going to try something new-to-me, brining, and see how it goes!)
- turkey pot pie
- loaded baked potato soup, apples
Saturday, December 6
- waffles with blueberry pomegranate syrup, scrambled eggs
- clean out the fridge
- popcorn, apples, special hot cocoa
Come back this week for lots of Bloggy Progressive Dinner recipes, including stuffed jalapenos and Sherry’s Aussie Chicken. I’ll also share my recipe for blueberry pomegranate syrup along with a giveaway!

Wonderful menu! I love the lazy granola, and the pizza braid is fantastic! The tutorial is very well done. I will make this. I have so enjoyed your blog and your great menu!
Yvonne
Thank you! Let me know how the pizza braid turns out for you.
I hear you! My youngest had off all week and it through my rountine right out the window:-) Well, back to life now!
Sounds delicious!
You may have missed it because my request was tucked in the middle of one of my link roundups – I’d like to know how you guys liked the black bean soup last week. :>)
@Lenetta @ Nettacow, Sorry ’bout that. I do remember that LONG list of links, though.
Yes, we liked the black bean soup… but not enough to make it frequently. We need a little more meat, or some cheese, or something. The bacon helped, though!
I have Aussie chicken on my menu this week as well! Love that dish.
