Menu Plan, Week of August 30

It has begun. We have something extra going on (other than regular school hours) 4 out of the next 7 days.  It’s a crazy (and really fun!) time of year, which is exactly why I’ve spent some spare moments this weekend setting up my Home Management Binder.

One critical “in the binder” item that saves my sanity?  You guessed it… my menu plan! Here’s what we’re eating this week.

Sunday, August 30 (Really?  8/30?!  It was only 75° today!)

  • ham and cheese omelets, toast
  • cook-out feast at my mom and dad’s, including Fresh Strawberry Sheet Cake
  • grapes/other snacks on our way home from the lake, leftovers

Weekday Breakfast

  • oatmeal with raisins or Lazy Granola (my hubby won’t touch hot oatmeal)
  • eggs with toast or muffins (twice)
  • french toast
  • blueberry pancakes

Weeknight Suppers

Saturday, September 5

  • Team Breakfast: sausage crescent rollups, scrambled eggs with cheese, zucchini bread, apples and cream cheese dip
  • clean out the fridge

Love your post this week. Thanks for the lazy granola link (i’ll be using that one!) AND the home management link, i hadn’t seen it before and I am in dire need of organizing all of my stuff here at the new house.

    Thanks!
