Pantry Triumph of the Week:
1 can of (free!) pie filling from the pantry + one box of (free!) puff pastry sheets from the freezer =
Yummy (free!) Blueberry Turnovers
It’s week 2 of the pantry challenge, and I’m so incredibly thankful I spent all that time last week finding a full month’s worth of menus! That made this week’s planning infinitely easier.
Breakfasts – a rotation of eggs (fried/scrambled/omelets) with toast or muffins, pancakes, waffles, french toast, lazy granola, oatmeal with raisins, and the occasional bowl of cereal with bananas
Lunch – a rotation of sandwiches (grilled cheese or pb&j), fresh fruit and veggies with dip, snack lunch tray, smoothies, and leftovers
Suppertime
- Slow-Cooker Italian Chicken Meal, tomato bread (new recipe)
- Mexican Lasagna, corn
- Crock Pot Chicken Chili, corn bread
- Something fun from the Princess Tasty Baker
that Santa brought this year. Princess donuts with apple pie filling, perhaps?
- Turkey Pot Pie (X 2, gotta make the most of my time!)
If you don’t know what’s for supper, head on over to Menu Plan Monday for a plethora of ideas!
