I like to cut brussel sprouts into "strips", then saute with cut up bacon, garlic, & a little butter...really yummy!

Another way is to toss them with olive oil, salt & pepper and roast them at a high temperature. They get a little crispy...then I sprinkle a little parmesan cheese over them. My 4 & 2 year olds love brussel sprouts both these ways.

Your menu sounds yummy! I may start doing the Menu Plan Monday, too. Your blog always inspires me.

Steamed brussel sprouts with butter, salt and pepper are my favorite way to eat them. I hope you like them.

I Love brussel sprouts. I cut an x in the stem end and boil them a few minutes (about 6) and then add them to a saute pan with a couple strips of cooked bacon (or at least a little bacon grease)and a granny smith apple diced pretty small. Add salt and pepper to taste and just saute a few minutes until nicely caramelized. They are absolutely delicious this way.

Absolutely love brussel sprouts! A couple of things...if they are fresh brussel sprouts, wash them well before preparing or you might end up with a dirty, gritty taste when eating them. Also, I love to basically boil/steam them and serve with a butter sauce.

Enjoy!
