Everything sounds so good. I can't wait to see the pizza braid! If you ever get a chance, I'd love to hear how you do your fried okra. I tried it once with a tempura batter and it the okra just got way too mushy. I don't know if it was something I did or the recipe, but I've been afraid to try it again. Thanks!

We make homemade salsa almost every week during the summer. Here's what I do:
5-6 tomatoes
2 cloves garlic(minced)
1 lime
1 small onion(red is best)
1 bunch cilantro
2-4 jalapenos(or serranos-that's what's in my garden)
2 tbsp olive oil
sea salt and pepper

Chop tomatoes, onion, peppers, and cilantro. Combine with garlic, lime juice, oil, salt and pepper. Taste and adjust to what you like. Sometimes I add a small can of tomato sauce if the tomatoes aren't super juicy. It makes it go further.
