Little Bit of Everything {Finer Things Friday}

I think we left off at 501.  Sunday Blessings, Finer Things Friday, it’s all the same, right?  Eh, not really, but for today it will suffice!  I’ve missed counting blessings with you!

502.  Movie night with just my 4yo.

503.  February thunderstorms.

504.  Two-year-old nephew’s knock knock joke:  “Knock Knock!”  “Who’s there?”  Hysterical laughter.  The end.

505.  We’ve entered the “I’ll feed myself” stage.  Oh, joy!  😉

506.  A clean(er) bedroom.

507.  Real life trumping blog life.

508.  Ordering my groceries online.  (Not all.  Some.  From Azure.)

509.  A new local CSA starting this spring!

510.  Giggly little girls, which I’m anticipating this evening as a couple of nieces come to visit.  Fun!

What Finer Things are you celebrating this week?  Link up and let us know!

  1. I have learned to enjoy simple things. Knowing everything is going to burn someday makes it easy to hold loosely to things of this world.

  2. Oooooohhhh. So you’re one of those storm likers, huh? 🙂 Not me. Especially since they’re calling for strong storms and tornados here today. *Shiver* I’m thankful for my basement! 🙂

  3. I’ve looked into azure, and feel a little overwhelmed by all the options. Would love a post about what deals or just what you order in general.

    • Will try to do that sometime! In general, I start with the “produce specials.” Then I look at the sales section (which is quite large). I also TRY to put things in my cart throughout the month as I think of them instead of waiting till the last minute and wondering what to order. 😉 I order all my white whole wheat flour, oatmeal, baking powder, baking soda, popcorn, etc.

  4. I love it when you count your blessings!

  5. Finer thing this week? Paying off the last of our student loans!

  6. Real life trumping blog life… a to the men! I love that you always know to keep your priorities straight!

  7. I love the picure of the dirty faced angel! They grow so, so fast! I already miss the pudgy little dirty fingers wrapped around mine!

Thanks for reminding us to look and count our simple-yet wonderful blessings!

  8. Love the knock knock jokes, my kids all still love those even when they make no sense at all! lol

  9. Hey Amy,
Just wanted to let you know that we tried Azure’s Organic Whole Wheat Pastry flour. I used to buy it from a local WinCo store, but hadn’t been able to shop there since having Baby. Anyway just wanted to share how nice it is to have this flour in the house again. I like it for pancakes, biscuits, pie crust and the like. Made a cake recently too and I couldn’t tell it from the unbleached AP flour counterpart. I’m not sure if you are familiar with this flour, or have ever used it, but I just wanted to share, since you’ve been ordering from Azure Standard and I know you like the white whole wheat flour.
