The 16 inch was comfortable; an easy adjustment after ditching the training wheels.
But the 18 inch, even without solid footing, would last longer.

What a beautiful post–and such a lovely daughter. Thanks for the reminder.
What a HUGE milestone!! Awesome:-)
Fantastic! My 7 yr old twin just took the training wheels off last week and is a pro. Kids are amazing aren’t they!?
That is indeed a milestone! Way to go!
Great post. I have linked to some footage of my kids first time biking w/o training wheels. We will be doing a lot of biking this spring and summer!
Congratulations to your daughter! She’ll be going places for sure now!
What a big accomplishment!!!
Great post. Cute pics.
I love this post! We all need to stretch ourselves so that we can continue to grow. Thanks for the terrific reminder!
Hi. I was just surfing around some blogs, and I came across yours. It’s pretty nifty and I’m really enjoying my stay here. I’ve bookmarked your site for daily visits, and I hope you’ll visit me. I’d love to have you.
Have a great day and I’ll see you around the blogosphere.
Cute post! We definitely have to stretch ourselves sometimes and do what we don’t think we can do. I know dd had a hard time doing this same thing.
That’s so sweet! We’re not there yet, but if I stretch I can almost imagine it.
