Honey Whole Wheat Bread

I have to credit my friend Amy for revolutionizing my bread making a couple months ago.  After reading her grandma’s whole wheat bread recipe I asked and then asked again.  Really?  Only one rise?

Yes!  Only one short rise.

This bread is 100% whole wheat, made from real food ingredients, delicious, and can be made much quicker than other recipes I’ve tried.  Win-Win-Win!

  4. Hi, can you substitute whole wheat flour for the white wheat flour?

    • You absolutely can, but white whole wheat makes for a lighter loaf of bread.

      • Thank you for a prompt response! I was concerned about nutrition, but doing some research I found that they are just 2 different types of wheat, the white is still the whole grain and nutritious. Planning on making many loaves for bread cubes for stuffing!! Want my two year old to enjoy Thanksgiving without giving up on healthiness!! Thanks! 🙂
