So, this wasn’t exactly how I planned it. This morning when I logged on, my intention was to tie up all loose ends before taking a 3-day break from the computer.
- Write and schedule a couple of posts for next week.
- Finish visiting and commenting on all of last week’s Finer Things Friday posts.
- Visit and comment on all of the March Clutter Update links.
- Read through and respond to comments and give thanks to all the bloggers who shared my posts this week.
- Clean out my inbox.
Some of that is gonna have to wait, and others… (gulp)… just isn’t gonna get done.
My ambition was thwarted this morning when my computer locked me out of Firefox, skype, and tweetdeck. I did manage to get on Internet Explorer; no offense, but it’s just not the same. As of now I’m unable to access any of my online documents or calendars. It’s not looking good.
I can’t open any new windows.
Can’t search for photos.
Can’t schedule posts.
Can’t open links.
Can’t visit other sites.
Can’t even preview my own post. Hmmm, I wonder if it’ll publish?
Can’t.
Can’t.
Can’t.
Frustrating? Yes. End of the world? Not even close! I know that things could be much worse, and I’m choosing right now to focus on what I can do.
I can add a few hours to my internet fast without guilt.
I can focus on the depth and significance of Holy Thursday, Good Friday, and Easter Sunday without the din of technology.
I can read extra books to my children (and get beat in a card game or 5).
I can go outside and enjoy this amazing spring weather.
I can abruptly ditch my schedule and just be with my family.
I can.
And I will.

Just a few things.
- If you haven’t already and would like to make someone’s day, please visit and comment on some of the Finer Things Friday and March Clutter Challenge links (linked above). This is the hardest for me to give up. I make it a point to always comment on every link, and I know my readers appreciate that. They’ve told me so.
- There will be no Finer Things Friday post this week. Good Friday (in my opinion) is a solemn day that deserves quiet and reflection.
- I hope to be back Monday, but, if I’m not… that’ll have to be okay, too.
Have a blessed Holy Week.

Have a blessed Easter!
Have a wonderful Easter, Amy!
Sorry to hear your computer crashed. Ugh!
Amy,
I just wanted to say Thanks for being one of my Top Referrers in March! I really appreciate it!
Have a wonderful Easter!

Have a great Easter with your family Amy. A media fast (self imposed or not) is usually a good thing for family time. At least at my house.
I had the same problem preparing for this weekend! But, I made it through:-)
Hi friend! I hope you had a wonderful, relaxing weekend!
I was wondering if everything was okay. If you want me to help with your son’s room just let me know!
Yes, I still need to send you pictures! Falling behind, falling very behind…
