Don’t forget to visit Food Plus Heat today where Jeff’s serving up Golden-Crusted Brussels Sprouts with Mirepoix for the Bloggy Progressive Dinner. Confession: I’ve eaten Brussels Sprouts once in my life, and that was from a Green Giant “Steam and Serve” bag. Probably not the most full-flavor experience.
In fact, I know so little about this green veggie that I’ve always thought it was brussel (without the “s”) sprouts! Clueless. I’m ready to try them again, though, after seeing Jeff’s photo and recipe. Yum!
As for my own favorite holiday side dish? Green Bean Bundles. They take a little time, but are so worth it!
