The link with information regarding the affect of skim milk on women’s infertility gives overly optomistic review of the research done by Dr. Chavarro. In this link http://tinyurl.com/ne4mpb , which is to a USAtoday news article, the good doctor even says that only one serving of whole milk food a day was sufficient. AND, the report also states that his research was “not a rigorous, scientific experiment where specific dietary factors could be studied in isolation.” ALSO, the impacts of increased weight in women has been proven to cause far greater infertility problems than this is thought to reduce. Please read the link I’ve given and then make a more educated decision. There is no doubt that farm raised milk and eggs are better for you and the environment, but the link given on this blog is not enough to change ones diet.
Also, there are many articles on line that look very convincing… My husband and I have actually looked up references provided by sites with health claims for various thins… Often we find that if the website lists a reference, the journal may not exist, or if it does exist, the specific article does not. The only way we’ve been able to determine this is by looking at the journal directly. It does help that we have access to a university library system and to the journals in question. End point – you need to critically think about what is written on line. Some of it is real, some of it is kind of real and some of it is just full of bunk.
