Family lore has it that my husband’s grandma was quite the sweepstakes player. Back in the day… you know… the days when such games were played with pencil and paper, requiring envelopes and stamps (gasp!) she’d spend hours filling out form after form, entering herself and everyone else in the family. She was even known to purchase extra bags and boxes of stuff (cereal, candy, etc.) in order to acquire more entry forms.
Apparently, it paid off. Among other things, Gram won a bike, a shopping spree, several sports packages (that made the grandkids drool) and a trip for 4 to Disney World! A lucky charm for sure, if Gram was still alive today I think she and I would have great fun entering blog giveaways.

I thought of Gram when I first saw the Hampton Chain of Friends Sweepstakes. She’d be all over this one!
100 First Prizes: Weekend stays given away daily for the winner and three of their friends. — My “friends” would likely be my hubby and kiddos. You know how picky my children are about their hotel room, right?! Give them drawers and cable and I become The Best Mom Ever! Throw in a swimming pool, and they’d be over the moon.
Grand Prize: Entire hotel for a weekend (100 rooms for 2 nights) — Let that one sink in for a minute! How fun would that be?! I would totally host my high school class reunion in a couple of years, but since I graduated with a class of 21 (yes, twenty-one) I may need to get more creative. Wedding? Family reunion? The possibilities are endless! Oooo, my very own blogging sleepover!!! Who wants to come?!
If I don’t win, I’d just as soon one of you take the prize! Entering is easy. Click over to Hampton Chain of Friends Sweepstakes and fill out the simple form. No pencil, paper, envelope, or stamp required.
Good luck to you, and please do tell … What would you do with a 100 room hotel for a whole weekend? (I hope I’m invited!)

I would totally invite you! And a whole crew of awesome bloggy buddies… how FUN would that be?
21, eh? That’s hysterical! I’d have been downright ashamed not to make the top ten…
(My class had 302- probably more than your school!)
302. That’s more than 1/2 the population of Tiny Town.
