Graham Cracker Crust

When I walked by the graham cracker pie crusts in the store last week, I glanced at the price tag and realized that this is yet another convenience food that I could probably make a little healthier and a lot cheaper on my own.  A little effort goes a long way…  I can make three graham cracker crusts for the price of one premade.

Easy as pie.  😉  And yummy with this chocolate chip cheesecake filling!

  1. OMW! That looks delish! Thanks for the reminder to steer clear of convenience foods!

  2. YUMMY! I like homemade graham cracker crusts and they are so simple to make, and taste much better too. I almost always fill ours with chocolate mousse pie.

  3. How true. I bet the cost of one box of crackers that will make 3 pie crusts is the price of one ready crust. I don’t know that, but I know making them is cheaper. I love graham crusts with just about anything.

  4. Homemade is always better:).

  5. Perfect for the peanut butter pies I will be making this weekend!
