Mmm…that list looks awesome!! I’ve got my pumpkins upstairs, all painted…and come Nov. 1, they will be cooked…and then I will be back. ;-)

I posted a vegan version of pumpkin pancakes recently. They are appropriate for those keeping the Nativity Fast (for us Eastern Orthodox Christians) or vegans.

Amy, I usually visit your site on my handheld (iphone) in the kitchen when I’m looking for specific recipes. The other night I was looking for the zucchini recipes and couldn’t find them. Frustrating!! Then I remembered you’d changed the link to pumpkin (yay!). Unfortunately, the WP formatting is such that the “Got Pumpkin?” and “Recipes” links fall off the home page on such a device. They do not wrap to another line. Is there any other way to access the “Recipes” link, other than clicking on the main bar under your header? I figure I’d ask because if I have this issue, maybe others do too?

Thanks!!!

Allie

@Allie Zirkle, Hmmm, I don’t have an iPhone, so I’m not sure what to tell you. Can you see my search bar on your iPhone? You could type in “zucchini recipes” or “pumpkin recipes” there if you see it.

I’ll ask around to see if I can help you out on the recipes page link access.

Thanks!

@Amy, Looks like the search box is available and working! I actually thought that search bar was for an ad for lijit so I NEVER wanted to click on it as I had no idea what lijit actually was… The search box will work great, just a two step process to get to the recipes. Thanks for the help!

Oh, I can’t believe I just now came across this list! I LOVE pumpkins and fall. I’ve blogged about pumpkins a few times this autumn: here are two of my favorites.

http://quickeasycheaphealthy.blogspot.com/2009/10/pumpkins-pumpkins-everywhere.html – “Healthier” Pumpkin Cake (less sugar, less oil, fewer eggs, whole wheat flour, practically sugar-free cream cheese frosting)

Thanks for all the pumpkin recipes. I have a cookbook dedicated to pumpkins and these recipes will be a great companion. I have 4 large pumpkins in my patch just waiting for me to pick and start cooking. Does anybody roast the seeds? I love roasted pumpkin seeds.
