I’ve been on the receiving end of a lot of giving lately. It does my sleep-deprived brain and newborn-love heart good to be so well cared for. In the end, though, I truly prefer to give, which is why I’m so excited about the 30-Day Giving Challenge coming up in November!
I’ve teamed up with 9 other bloggers for the challenge, which starts November 1. We’ll present all sorts of ideas and inspiration for giving, and…well, there will be a whole lot of giving going on! You don’t want to miss it! To keep up with the latest happenings, be sure to follow everyone on Facebook and Twitter.

Giving is definitely a Finer Thing! What Finer Things are you celebrating this week? Link up (to your blog post) and let us know! Please leave a link back here, too.

I’m excited about the 30 days of Giving challenge this year too! Missed out on most of it from last year!
Sorry about link#17. I always forget that these link up things remember my last link. #18 is the correct link for my “Finer Thing”.
Hi Amy!
I’m looking forward to the “Giving challenge”! Thanks for hosting. Have a great day!
Awesome! Looking forward to the Giving Challenge! That’s right when our church has a Blessing Boutique where they give away donated baby clothes for free to anyone who needs them.
This is my first time participating in The Finer Things Friday. I love linky blog hops, and this one wonderfully unique and special! I think I’ll be coming back again!
What a cool series!
I am looking forward to the series on giving. We have so many favorite places to give… and I just love to see how my boys are getting into the spirit of giving, even at ages 6 & 9. Of course, after reading your post today, my Finer Things Friday post seems a bit, well, selfish… but if you saw the state of my car, maybe you’d agree, my Dad’s gift to me truly was a FINER THING!
Looking forward to the 30 Day Giving Challenge! My friend and boss was killed last week in a car accident. A few days before he was killed, I had a dream about him in which he told me to “get rid of 100 things”. I argued with him and said “I don’t think I can do that…I can get rid of 10 things maybe”. But in the dream he insisted on 100. So I am starting the challenge a little early ~ but I will need all the help I can get. And (this doesn’t surprise me) I gave my email address in link #35 above instead of my website address. Oh silly me. I will be correcting this after I update my blog. Thanks for hosting this. It’s a wonderful project
You might wonder why I added a creamsicle shake. I just discovered this drink and for those of us, of a certain age, this is a memory and a delicious drink. I want to share it with everyone and hope they try it. I think it is one of the finer things, in a subtle way.
