Back in November a friend invited me to the local Taste of Home Cooking School. We had a fabulous time, and our $10 ticket was a fantastic value. In each attendee’s goody bag there were product samples and Taste of Home magazines that more than made up for the ticket price.
When I got home from the show and went through my bag I noticed two postcards for a Free One-Year Subscription to Taste of Home magazine, valued at $23.94! This week, as part of the quarterly Bloggy Giveaways Carnival, I want to pass one of those subscriptions on to you!

Hmm… I’m a cooker on a regular basis but love to bake. 2009 is going to be the year of baking for me!
I am more of a cooker. I buy boxes of cake and brownie mix because my kids love to make those. They are so proud of making them that it is kind of their thing now.
I love to cook – I am not great at cooking but I love to get a new recipe and try it out! : ) I LOVE this magazine and I have not been able to get it for a few years!!! : )

I had no idea there was a Taste of Home Cooking School! I’m more of a cooker. While I like to bake, I tend to eat what I bake, too. So, I try to limit that.

Definately a cooker. My Husband is the baker, I get totally confused and end up with rock hard bread and biscuits when I try, but can cook just about anything else.
I am both. We put out a large garden each year, can & freeze all we can, and create nearly every meal from scratch. We have 5 kids and one income so it’s the only way we can survive…plus it’s healthier for us.

Those are great magazines, I pick them up periodically at thrift store and cut out the recipes that appeal to me.
