Confession: I am not a crafty, creative mom. My idea of craft time is to set the craft box (we do have one – yay!) in the middle of the table and say “Have at it!”
Oh, but I did dye some freebie pasta once. That was pretty cool!
Needless to say, my fascination with all things Crayola is not just because my children love their products. Anything that can make even mom’s art projects look good? Win!
Crayola wants every child to be creatively alive, so they’re inviting parents “Inside the Crayon Box,” for a special live chat with celebrities and trusted parenting experts that will inspire and spark ideas to expand your child’s creative thinking. If you find yourself looking for new ways to inspire your children to express their ideas and build their creativity, you´ll want to join us to learn and share!
The first “Inside the Crayon Box” live chat is Wednesday, March 7 at 9 p.m. EST. Join Crayola and musician, children´s author and mom, Lisa Loeb for a 45-minute live streaming video chat on the Crayola Facebook page. We want to hear from you – participants can ask Lisa questions during the event, too!
Also, be sure to check out Lisa’s book Lisa Loeb’s Silly Sing-Along: The Disappointing Pancake and Other Zany Songs (Sterling Children’s Books, 2011) available at Barnes & Noble and Amazon.com. Those window markers are great! I haven’t seen the washable markers yet, I’ll have to find some of those because my (almost) 18 month old daughter LOVES to color and draw but I hate the regular markers/crayons. She’s already colored on the wall once and I’m not ready for it to happen again
The kaleidoscope chalk sounds like lots of fun!!

I would love to try the window markers!!!
The dry erase crayons — so easy to clean off of walls and tables
.
I love the idea of window markers! My kids have both (at the same age, but at different times) decided to color on the window. Both have only done it once and both times it stayed up so that Daddy could see what they did (and were scolded for) but really I thought it looked kind of neat! I just didn’t want to encourage coloring anywhere they felt like it…for instance my husband’s aunt’s white couch while visiting for Thanksgiving. Thank goodness for washable crayons!
Heather
I think the window markers look cool!
I would love to play with the window markers!
)

I like the idea of markers with no lids!
Dry erase crayons! I love all things dry erase!
Oh, and the window markers are not quite as cool as you think. My kids draw horrendous scribbles, I mean pictures, on my windows and then I get to stare at them until I go crazy, I mean wash the windows. And we all know that’s not often enough.
I recently taught my 4 year old how to wash the window and that helps, but he is short so only things at his height and below get cleaned on a regular basis!
The window markers sound fun!
I’m excited about the dry erase bright crayons! I love everything Crayola!! Thanks for a wonderful giveaway!
Yeah, definitely the Window Markers, they sound like a lot of fun!!
