Fuchia Nest

Turns out it wasn’t just the Kansas wind and heat partnered with my black thumb that was killing this pretty fuchia plant.

Immediately after you let me know that my fuchia needs lots of water and that I need to get it out of the sun (and probably transplant it to a bigger pot), I went out to give it a drink and move it from its west-side (high above my head) front porch hook.

Ever get the beejeebers scared out of you while watering a plant?!

The three baby birds I nearly drowned were a little frightened, too, I think.

How funny! I had the EXACT same thing happen in my fuschia plant I had three summers ago!

  2. Stephanie says:

We had baby birds born underneath our deck, but one of them fell out and died. It was so sad!

  3. Eek! What a surprise! Congratulations I think

Oh my goodness, that would be a surprise for sure! My parents had a nest in the wreath on their front door and when my husband forgot and accidentally went out that door, the mama bird dive-bombed his head… I think that scared the beejeebers out of him!

  5. I got attacked by wasps while I was watering plants. Apparently the nest they built in my garden was not water-proof.

    Oh, my goodness! LOL!
