This morning I was standing at the stove cooking breakfast, still in a bit of a morning stupor, when Lance leaned in. “She’s reading to them,” he whispered with a smile.
So I turned around and the fog cleared. I inhaled the sight, sound, and wonder of this.

She is reading to them.
A quiet morning moment cooking at the stove with my girl reading to her siblings… a Finer Thing, indeed.

That is awesome! I love when my boys read to each other!
This happens on occasion in our home too and I love to sneak a peek, ’cause if you get caught spying the moment is gone!
Great photo!
I love it when things like his happen. Warms your heart, huh?
That is really sweet! I hope you have many more moments like that one!

Saw your tweet last night and came on over. I’m a first time participant. Hope I did everything okay.
It’s exciting to see your own kids reading, isn’t it? Have a great weekend!
That is so sweet. I love their little footsie pj’s!
I can relate to that one. It is awesome, isn’t it! Sweet photo.
I hope you don’t mind my linky. I found this through another blog. After I read your wonderful post, I wonder if an elevated fireplace is any big deal at all.
