Ok, fine. I’ll admit it. Sometimes, generally for lunch after my grocery shopping mornings, I pop in a frozen pizza and call it good. A mom’s gotta do what a mom’s gotta do, right?
When the folks at Freschetta contacted me about reviewing their new Freschetta FlatBread pizza, I knew I’d have a few little hands ready to help me out with the project. 
In addition to free pizza coupons, they sent us a pizza stone, oven mitt, and pizza cutter. Fun! With some carrot sticks and apple slices to round it out, this pizza fed my preschool crew beautifully.
For the kids, I picked up Zesty Italian and for me, Roasted Garlic and Spinach. What a treat! Both varieties were delicious, and the generous amount of toppings was far more impressive than other frozen pizzas I’ve bought in a pinch. I did have to put on my rose-colored glasses, though, when reading the ingredients. I’ve become a skeptic, and a long list of ingredients, some of which I wasn’t familiar with, leaves me… um, skeptical.
As for the Freschetta FlatBread crust? I loved it! I’ve always been a “hand-tossed” crust fan, but this light, crispy crust was delicious and satisfying without leaving me with the feeling that I’d just eaten a hunk of bread. Tell me you know that feeling! In fact, the last time we made our homemade pizza I stretched the crust to fit over two pans. I’ve converted.
So, will Freschetta FlatBread pizza become the grocery-shopping-day lunch of choice in my home? Let’s just say it will when I can find it on sale and I have a coupon. I’ve seen it for $4.99 in my grocery store. Paired with this $1.00 off coupon, I’d say $3.00 is a great price for some occasional lunch-time sanity!

Our ultimate favorite is salami and sauerkraut on a cracker thin crust from a little joint in MN where I went to school. However, that’s not readily available in MI, nor is it figure friendly! Our 2nd favorite is pepperoni and green olive. Yep. We are weird!
We enjoy fresh peppers & onions and ground sausage or pepperoni….on top of my aunt’s delicious homemade pizza crust recipe!

I always make our pizzas half cheese and half pepperoni and bacon.
MY favorite is supreme. No olives, though. My husband likes that one too. I give him my olives lol.
The family pleaser, though, is just plain pepperoni.

We love cheese steak pizza. I pick up a head of lettuce in the produce section and run to the deli counter to have the man there shred it super fine! Like you’d get on a hoagie. Then I take it home. Make my favorite pizza crust. Bake. Top with cooked chipped steak, still warm, and provolone cheese. Bake again, just until the cheese is golden and bubbling. Then top that with the shredded lettuce and sliced tomatoes. Wonderful. I usually fold my pizza and add mayo but not everyone loves mayo!
Simply cheese or pepperoni are our all time favorites.
Chicken, bacon, artichoke OR BBQ chicken.
My kids & husband are simple – pepperoni! I like peppers, mushrooms, onions – and anything else that might make a slightly exotic pizza!

My son and my husband need meat, meat, and more meat. I like your garlic and spinach idea. I don’t think my son (he’s only 3) has ever had a frozen pizza. I am so reluctant to pay that much for a frozen pizza as the ones of my childhood were really pretty gross…I just spend an extra $7-10 and get papa john’s—which is not quick, so we’d love to win this and maybe we’ll become converts!

My husband would say that his favorite toppings are pepperoni, bacon and mushrooms on a thin crust. Thankfully I’ve been able to make him a happy, happy man with my homemade pizza! I prefer sausage and veggies (onions, green peppers, mushrooms, olives, etc), but typically we do ones closer to what he likes. I figure it is a small sacrifice and it makes him really happy…and I throw some veggies on my half to make me happy!

Hawaiian is our pizza of choice right now. Husband discovered it has less calories than his other favorite, meat lovers.
I love Freschetta, but have never tried the flatbread variety because we are so in love with the rising crust.
