Free Shipping from Tropical Traditions (And BOGO Expeller-Pressed Coconut Oil)

Good news!  Use code 221211 to get free shipping at Tropical Traditions this weekend.  Their coconut oil is my favorite, and right now their expeller-pressed coconut oil quarts are Buy One Get One Free.

Expeller-pressed is what I use to fry homemade hashbrowns, chicken fried steak, and other foods when I don’t want even a hint of coconut flavor but want all the good-for-you fats.

I buy a gallon at a time to get the best price, but with the Buy One Get One deal combined with free shipping is even better!  Shipping deal is good through October 22, and the BOGO deal ends October 25th.

  1. Im brand new to coconut oil and still trying to figure out what to do with it. I don’t do a lot of baking (no kids yet….so just me and my hubby) so far I have only stirred it into oatmeal and tried it in a smoothie.

Any other tips for when to use it? I like the homemade hash brown idea!

  2. Suzanne- you can use coconut oil for a million things. Moisturizers, eye lash growth, cooking, baking, cleaning, hygiene. I polish my stainless steal appliances with it! I use it as diaper rash cream for my daughter. The possibilities are endless…..make up remover, It keeps my dogs ear clean- the best thing about it is that it’s natural too!

  3. I ordered!

  4. Thanks Amy! I used your affiliate link. :-)

  5. Used link too – thanks for sharing!!!

  6. I ordered tonight as well and the free shipping was still available!! I have been thinking about this coconut oil business after hearing your praises so this was a good deal to get me to finally try it. Please tell me you fried your zuchinni in it this summer…..

    • Yes, I do! Zucchini, tortillas for our “loaded tostadas”, popcorn… My fats of choice are either butter, olive oil, or coconut oil for everything. :)

(Shouldn’t you be having a baby or something?!)
