finer things friday Finer Things Friday: Spontaneity and Surprises
My children have no idea, but in exactly 1 hour and 12 minutes we are going to hit the road. On our agenda?  Cheering on their cousins at a t-ball game (stopping at *gasp* McDonald’s on the way!), and then spending the night with those cousins.  Oh, the excitement!  We might even do a “kid swap” tomorrow and have the girls come back with me and the boys all stay at my brother’s house for yet another night.

I love pulling fun summertime surprises on my children!

And I love being the Best Mommy, Ever!  ;-)   It’s a Finer Thing!

What Finer Things are you celebrating this week?  Link up and let us know!  As always, please link to your post and not your homepage, and leave a link back here so your readers can join in the fun.

Oh how fun! I remember how exciting it was to have sleep overs with cousins when I was younger. We usually slept at my grandma’s house. Oh the trouble we got into.

I love your “best mommy ever” statement. I know that exact feeling. When they are little it doesn’t take much for them to see you that way does it?

How fun! My mom and grandma used to do this several times a summer. We wouldn’t know where we were going until we got there.

This is the first time I’ve participated in your blog carnival – thank you for hosting. Your site is a much needed reminder that the finer things in life are the simple things, things that we can so easily over look if our eyes are in the wrong place.
