I had two choices: scold her for rearranging Mama’s breakable stuff, or inquire about her creativity. I inquired.
“What’s going on over there? What are all those people doing?”
“Day wooking at de Baby. Dey pwaying.”
So glad I asked.

I’m glad you asked, too. Grace has the Little People Nativity set, and she plays with it all the time. Recently, the people were all lined up to look at the baby. Another time, baby Jesus and his friends were taking turns at a pinata. Those are some of my favorite Christmastime memories.
