finer things friday Finer Things Friday: Bedtime Prayers

I had another post in mind for tonight, but a small detour on my way to the computer completely derailed my thoughts.

Leaving my son’s room after tucking him in, I glanced in the girls’ room.  Seeing my 6 year old’s empty bed, I walked in the room and turned toward the toddler bed.  She bolted up, but not before I saw her snuggled in with her little sister.

“What are you doing?” I asked with a you are sooo not in trouble grin on my face.

“We were praying.”

For this mama, life just doesn’t get any finer!

Isn’t it a great thing when something happens that makes you realize what you are teaching them is really sinking in!
Thanks for hosting!

My husband and I pray together every day – it’s a practice that keeps us grounded in purpose regardless of life circumstances. I love that your babies are learning such an invaluable life tool.

How precious! Voluntary, spontaneous prayer is definitely a finer thing!
