I live in Kansas. My calendar says January 22. It can’t be. January in Kansas is windy and bitter cold at best, icy and arctic when things get interesting.
It was 63° this afternoon. Sunny. No wind.
We took advantage and had a wonderful afternoon at the park.
Three happy kids. Exercise for Mama. Laughter for all. At the park… in January! Definitely one of the Finer Things in Life.

I would have to agree – that would be SUCH a finer thing. We’re looking forward to it just getting above 20 degrees here.

Nice to have a little reprieve during the cold winter days. 
It is supposed to be 50 here today, but I am starting to get sick and the kids all have coughs so we are staying indoors
. I am so sad because days like this are rare!
