Finer Things Friday: A Week Full

Enjoying a “no school” snow day even more because daddy is home to enjoy it with us.

A determined 3 year old napping on top of her comforter, covered only by a bathroom towel, because “I don’t want to wreck my bed, mom!”

Baby belly laughs, brought on by the antics of older siblings.

Watching my 5 year old in the basketball huddle “coaching” with daddy, high-fiving the players as they are announced, keeper of the clipboard.

The first 2 points ever scored by our 7 year old in her second year of basketball.

And this.  I can’t get enough of this.  He’s a pretty big deal.  ;)

My week was full of Finer Things!  How about yours?  What Finer Things are you celebrating this week? Link up and let us know!

I agree – snow days (or icy days here in Dallas!) are worth treasuring when Daddy’s home too. :) Such sweet baby smiles too!

  2. Can’t wait to enjoy our snow day! Adorable baby picture!

  3. Run DMT says:

PRECIOUS!!! I have a 9 y.o., a 5 y.o and a 6 month old and I love when I get to spend days with like that with them.

  4. how precious! I love that your little one didn’t want to “wreck the bed” :)

  5. Sounds like a wonderful week!

And goodness, I know the ‘on top of the comforter’ thing all too well. We’ve been through it with all three. So sweet! (And entirely logical.)

  6. I love it! Hoping last night was better than the night before. :)

  7. Linda says:

It sounds like a good way to seize the moment! My kids never cared whether they wrecked the bed or not – still don’t, actually (they’re 30 and 33 now), but they sure loved seizing the moment to play with their dad.

  8. Sherry says:

Dd used to do that with sleeping on top as she didn’t want to have to make the bed.
I can’t believe how big he is getting. Such a cutie!

  9. Miranda says:

I wrote my finer things post yesterday and I can’t believe how alike both of our posts were! I’m also celebrating snow days today as my daughter and I ventured out for the first time this winter.

  10. Mandy says:

Why, yes, he is a pretty big deal! ;) Such a cutie! Missed you at Blissdom, but I know you had plenty of great reasons to be at home! ;)

  11. Katie says:

I bet your 5yr. old gets such a kick out of being in the thick of the action at the basketball game! So cute that he gets to “coach” along with dad :)

  12. He is just too cute!!!!

  13. Penny says:

Those are certainly Finer Things!! Your baby boy is adorable!

  14. Susan Evans says:

    What a cutie pie baby!

  15. Happy Friday!
I am sharing my post Healthy Snacks For The Big Game! I wanted to give people some alternatives to the heavy carb and cheese appetizers that everybody is used to.
    Thanks for hosting!

  16. Sounds like heaven!!
