Finer Folding


It’s been a long week, friends.  Long days, early mornings, late (and short!) nights.

We’ve been out the door to Vacation Bible School each morning at 8:45, arriving home at 11:30.  Lunch, chores, computer work, naps (amen!), supper, and 8:30 ballgames every evening.  Baths at 10:00 and start over the next day.  Plus football camp at 6am for Lance.

Happy, exhausting, chaos.

Yesterday I was fixing supper and asked the kids to work on the living room.

“This way?  Did I do it right?” I heard two rooms over.

“Yes!  Like that!”

Out of the numbing tired I saw my two boys folding a load of laundry on their own.  Big brother teaching little brother how to fold the washcloths and dish rags.

My work here is done.  😉
