I’m pretty sure each consignment shop has their own rules, but at the one I use… I simply call first to see if and what items they are currently accepting. Then I take my boxes in, marked with my ID number. They sell and record, and I get 50% of the profit. It’s not a lot, but it’s not much work either!

You mentioned using a consignment shop for getting rid of children’s clothing. I’ve never looked into that. How does that work? Do you get paid up front or only when your item sells? I would be interested in reading a post about that!

My mom is an expert purger, but I’m so very thankful that she kept some “grandma’s toys” too! My kids love to play with what I played with as a child.

I need to hit up the toys this month. They are a bit overwhelming. We do not have a playroom, but the boys each have their own room. And they both are a MESS!
I am up to 98 items in the 730 in 365!!!
