Between our two extended families, there are certain dishes that are requested at every celebration. Here are some of our Thanksgiving favorites. (Never mind that 3 of the 4 are desserts.) 
Strawberry Pretzel Salad (Dessert?)
What foods must be served at your holiday meals?
During Christmas time my mother has to make layered pudding bars, I can’t find the recipe, but it’s basically a puddingy-frostingy filling sandwiched between two layers of thick chocolate. Mmmmm. In my husband’s family they must have pumpkin pie at Thanksgiving, they used to buy stacks of pumpkin pie from the store around this time (with 4 boys they went through them quick!)
Here’s another family that must have Strawberry Pretzel Salad at Thanksgiving (and Christmas!) Love that stuff!! Other must-haves are stuffing made from my mother-in-law’s recipe and straight-from-the-can cranberry sauce for my daughters!
I haven’t had that Strawberry Dessert forever! Thanks for inspiring me to make it.

How funny, I didn’t know pretzel salad was a Thanksgiving tradition for anyone else. We have to have it every year and I’m so blessed that my mom always makes it!

Those dinner rolls look AMAZING!! One Thanksgiving/Christmas essential at our home: noodles. My husband makes them (learned from his Grandmother) and we eat them over mashed potatoes.
Oh, I so love pumpkin desserts. That cake looks yummy. I think you just pushed me to make a dessert tonight while we watch a football game. LOL!
